I,ve seen 1 RAF C-17 Fly over my house but when you see any aircraft really low with the gear down they are 10 to 20 seconds to landing. I think they are just awesome cause when they come in it's like they just hang there and hardly move and our pet magpie " loves them to " by making lots of noise and jumping up and down.
He's still fleshing out a lot of the mission and map and whatnot for multiplayer use of carrier ops and it'll take a while but he IS making it multiplayer friendly so watch for that :)
I don't see why you are saying no USAF is broken. Armaholic download works like a charm, such a good mod! I think there might be loading problems when taking off or I'm retarted.

It's really not. USAF is currently being developed by a very talented team. Check the link Ethan Hawkins posted, they're really doing some great work. A mess? Maybe. But it's still a very large piece of free content being developed for no one but the player(s) enjoyment. Anyways, I think they deserve a link in the description. Give credit where credit is due, which I'm sure is no unfamiliar concept to most TH-cam content creators.

on aircraft carriers they have a cord to catch and brake for jets as well as a catapult that locks onto your front wheel and shoots you off the deck
