Pure therapy, I’ve had a rubbish day at work and I check the Vlogs I follow and there it is, little red camper. Gentle Ken and Carol all calm and informative in a articulate way, We watch in envy and think what could be. Absolutely love the vlogs. Take great care.
Lovely video enjoyed it very much, all the scenery very beautiful, and what really caught my eye was when you were leaving the sea front to park for the nigh elsewhere and the moon came into the video and later that same day I was admiring it here so far away...!!!!

Thanks for watching Gavin. Hope we are doing Anglesey justice. There were a lot of places we didn’t get to see so we look forward to making a return visit in the future 🙂
Lots of people comment that they are calming and its great they can do that. Falling asleep is good but please start watching a playlist of them as once you have nodded off it would be good for the add revenue 😁👍

Thank you for this video. Been too hectic to watch in some time now but decided to take one in this afternoon. This was beautiful, informative, and so peaceful. I think you two lowered my blood pressure!
Another lovely vlog. Well Im on the last night of my Wales trip, in Hay on Wye now. I loved Anglesey and you’re right, you do get used to all the narrow roads. Really enjoyed the old prison and court house in Beaumaris, did you visit? I got used to wild camping but used a few sites too, to shower (as it got extremely hot). Swam in a waterfall and went down a slate mine too. I will be putting together a short video when I get home. Where are you off to next?
You will see what happened in the next episode when we got near the prison. 😁👍 Yes, when it’s as hot as it has been everything becomes more of a challenge. Do you have reflective screens that you can put on the outside of your windows. We find that is a massive help.
@@LifeistooshortCK yes I have those but it was still hot, especially after a day out & about. Just got hone…. Unpacked, having a beer….Now for the washing 😖 and to watch your next vlog
Lovely vid again here guys. Love the drone footage. Would have been great to see how the tide comes in from above on time lapse but guess the timings didnt coincide. A couple of good park ups here to add to our list when we visit. All the best fromMal, Dave and Sally the Lab aka The SilvertopMotorhomers

We were quick on the draw tonight and saw this pop up ….. a real great pace to this and enjoyed the drone on red wharf bay in particular …. Thanks for the production
luv the views, especially above you can see a lot more going on. luv the scenery, it has helped me from being upset, and less stressful. enjoy your day.
Quick question Ken/Carol. Have you ever cooked a ready meal in the Ridge Monkey, or is it even possible since they are generally for microwaves? Thanks Darren :-)
Hi there Carole & Ken You seem to have been away forever……….great following your travels. Been on my own recently from Sw to Norfolk got to say I am still using sites but intend on going independent camping sooner or later. I am looking to get a diesel heater fitted to my small van and so looking at duvets I am interested to know what you think of your wool duvets are they ok for year round camping and do they need duvet covers ? as I noticed the other day some don’t require covers which means less to put in the van.
Hi Maxine. Give the old wild camping a try for sure. We love our wool duvet and especially the wool pillows. I don’t know why but we just don’t seem to get hot and sticky using them. Ours certainly have covers and we prefer that as they are much easier to wash and dry on the road. We are using them all year round and they have made a big impact on reducing the level of dust in the van. 👍
@@LifeistooshortCK Thanks for the info on the duvets, I think a light wool duvet is the way to go they look like they aren’t to bulky either. As for the wild camping I am going to start by doing a few Brit Stops first then move on to wild camps.
Hi Ken, another really good vid, would you consider using the what3words app to tell us where you pitch for the night, you do seem to find quiet spots.
Thanks David. If a site is on Park 4 Night we put the what 3 word location in the video description as it is already in the public domain. Where a site could be ruined if its location was made too easy to find we don’t. That will be frustrating for some and a blessing to others. Apologies.
@@LifeistooshortCK I understand, I suppose if you give them all out then some sites could get too busy and that may upset the locals. I have park4night and search for sites so I will continue to use them. Thanks. Getting prepared to travel up to Shetland for 3 weeks then probably on to the Outer Hebrides after if Sturgeon doesn’t close Scotland down again🥴
@@LifeistooshortCK Lovely, I need to upgrade, I have the original Mini 1, we have just swapped our caravan for a MWB sprinter off grid camper, following your travels and advice avidly, thank you for great vids and long may your travels continue 🙏
Congrats on the switch I wish we had gone the van route instead of caravan all those years ago. A van is vastly superior to a caravan and I never thought I would say that. The mini 2 is much more capable in strong winds than the mini 1 and the method of connection is rock solid. 👍
