About two years ago famous footwear was only place that they had the adiassge slide when the rubber footbed was a more gel like material, they change there name to Shoe Dept and picked up a new pair of adiassges and the footbed is the same material as the slide. Totally different. Took a day to wear em in to even be comfortable.
How to actively maintain these crappy, newer version slides? I just bought a pair but didn't realize the material change, but I'll just buy another pair for more durable wear and tear. Any suggestions on how to properly clean without drying out and reducing the longevity of this delicate, updated version? (Old pair was like rubber pegs but this feels like foam. P.s. -i will emphasize that i have feet issues so having this newer version actually benefits my condition until i can get proper medical attention.. softer pegs not applying too much pressure is serendipitous *
The new version is cheap and you can feel the difference right away…the new ones are much lighter in weight. They are also incorrectly sized. The old ones ran a wee bit small…a size 8 women’s just fit my foot and the size 8 in the newer version is more like a size 10….. They are a totally different product. I am back to searching for a well made affordable massage sandal to wear around the house.
@@SergeyKasimov I ended up buying a pair of the older ones, used, on poshmark. The good ones have a specific pattern on the soul and if you look closely of a photo of the sandal you can see the arch which the new cheap ones don’t have. It’s a completely different animal…and by the way weighs about twice as much. Way better quality.
They don’t feel cheap at all, sounds as if you’re just someone who enjoys complaining, they’re very comfortable, you’re incorrect. These don’t even feel like Crocs.
@@idenrain3313 Incorrect. They do feel really cheap compared to the old versions. Having them side by side, the new ones look and feel like knockoffs.
@@MyName_Jeff I have a pair of the original Adissage athletic slides and there is a marginal difference. They’re not even uncomfortable, you just enjoy complaining. Don’t purchase them or wear them if they supposedly present with discomfort.
