3:11 is the best dive. But I wonder if Joshua Bardwell is right to say that quads should always roll down during a dive, not straight down, because you can't have zero throttle and still have good attitude/orientation control. I have been FPV helicopter dives that is true vertical and straight because heli blades can have zero pitch while mentaining 100% attitude control.
as we know krispy rips towers and i can tell u those cables dont play, ive dove over 50 plus towers, it can be heaven or hell, gr8 job guys bringing back them drones. "No Drones left behind" with wind just rotate urself aka roll around while going down too keep the line especially 1000ft plus just pick a spot on ground and just spin to win
I've dived the 1400ft tv tower near me a shitload of times on analog, there are also several other towers I've dived in this area too, cell phone towers seem to give me the most noise but they have all been flyable, never noticed a issue with elrs at all, maybe latency went up a little, signal on the tall tv towers was totally until i was very close to the element at the tippy top for a few brief flashes of static, I wouldn't recommend doing it with a vrx that desyncs like a rapidfire, definitely make sure your in legacy mode, personally i sold my rapidfire and switched to a starfish D1 cuz i found it works much better overall and a fraction of the price, i recently started switching to walksnail this summer and only tower ive done so far with it was a iheart radio tower and had zero issues at all on with walksnail reception. Been meaning to go to the 1400ft one to try walksnail, just haven't had a chance yet. Just be ready to flip to angle mode just in case video should come back if you lose it.
@lqdfrce I'm a hybrid pincher, and sometimes my finger will hit the arm switch, making me tumble to the ground. I've tried putting a prearm switch, but it doesn't help. I can't find a good arming switch. I don't put my fingers on and disarm. The boxer is amazing, but the switches aren't made for pinchers.
@Unicyle I've seen videos where people toss their drones and arm them and fly, but I can't find any info on how they do this. I set the angle for arming at 180 so it can arm any direction. But when falling out of the sky, I can't get it to arm and fly out before landing in a tree somewhere.
Try setting arming angle in betaflight. Once I've hit a top of a tree and disarmed. I could fly away but the arming angle was set to 30 or something like that and it turned to a big problem😂 Now I set to 180.
I flew my Nazgûl into the ground 1st flight, it did not survive 😂 If your new to drones From one noob to another stick to micros There consequence free And cheapish to replace
