Welcome to the Wagakki band world. They take you on an experience.
Homura (flame) and Akatsuki no ito. (thread of dawn) are both written by Machya, the man with the Noh Mask from Japanese Noh theatre. The mask represents the spirit of a woman (the cut on the eye is not original). He uses the mask on his instrumental songs.
They were started by pianist, poet, composer and shigin singer Yuko Suzuhana in 2013. They quickly became an arena band.
Perhaps best known for their New Year's party Daishinnekai.
As for seeing them live, you'll have to hurry, because they're going on an indefinite hiatus on December 31st. Expect that there will be a final concert in the autumn/winter of this year.
They say they will be on stage again to deliver better new songs in the future.
So in the meantime we can enjoy all the live videos found on YT and the seven amazing albums they have released.
    Wagakki band consists of:
    Yuko Suzuhana - vocals, piano
    Machiya - guitar, vocals
Beni Ninagawa - tsugaru shamisen (three strings)
Kiyoshi Ibukuro - koto (25 strings - Japan's national instrument)
    Asa - bass
Daisuke Kaminaga - shakuhachi (bamboo flute9
    Wasabi - drums
    Kurona - wadaiko (traditional drums)
Highly recommend these two performances in addition to Senbonsakura.

The mask the guitarist wears is an homage to 'Noh', their traditional theatre.

This band is brilliant. They play music in many genres (pop, vocaloid, jazz, rock or metal), but the performance is always at the highest level. They have very positive energy. Recommended songs: Wagakki Band:"Kyoukasuigetsu"+"Tsukini sakebuyoru", "Hotarubi", "Synchronicity", "Sabaku no komoriuta" all songs, of course live. Avoid original MVs, they are often blocked.

Yuko is a Classically trained pianist who also does shows with Orchestras and the second part of this is used by audiences to call for encores, the Noh masks are made to depict different characters and by tilting the head up or down the actor can change expression, if you look closely you can see his change from a slight smile to a frown,

No more cat skin on the shamisen, but they still do reptile skin in the southern islands. The bachi and tuning pegs used to be ivory but now are a synthetic material.

The style of the lead vocalist (Yuko Suzuhana) is shigin. Shigin is old and originated in the late Edo period (1603-1868) in private and clan schools that trained samurai children as they read Chinese poetry with their own stanzas. After that, it spread throughout the country as a culture of samurai singing poetry.
Yuko Suzuhana, who won the 2011 National shigin Contest, started a unit "華風月-Hanahuugetu".
    th-cam.com/video/0m1y7m0HkvQ/w-d-xo.html
Wagakki Band was formed in 2013 by Yuko Suzuhana with the aim of disseminating traditional performing arts to the world in a more pop form, centering on "華風月-Hanahuugetu".
"Wagakki Band: (Kyoukasuigetsu) + (Tsukini sakebuyoru") is a great choice.
and jazz number “(Synchronicity) / Dai Shinnenkai 2022 Nippon Budokan” is also awesome.

Good song, good reaction and good book on the keyboard -- a little pity that such books are still strongly needed in this century.

I love Wagakki Band, they are so (multi-)talented and unique. I recommend Senbonzakura (A thousand cherry blossoms):
    th-cam.com/video/Xjwe9WyO8Qs/w-d-xo.html
It's their most well known song with 163 million views on the official video. It's actually part of their first album of vocaloid covers. The music video is great and filled with Japanese visuals, but it's getting blocked for reactors unless obscured. I instead linked my favorite live version of it. All their videos are safe to react to except for a few older music videos on the "avex" channel.

Great reaction. If you like this, then I strongly recommend you to try these following songs.
Kyouka Suigetsu + Tsuki Ni Sakebu Yoru, th-cam.com/video/aWlMc-pbDc8/w-d-xo.html. It's an amazing fusion of metal and Japanese ethnic music with smoking solo of each member.
Haru No Umi, th-cam.com/video/xkBgCVQ1DlA/w-d-xo.html. It's an old piece for the Koto (the horizontal harp) and the Shakuhachi (the bamboo flute) with a modern arrangement with additional instruments the Shamisen (the sree string banjo) and the Taiko (the Japanese drums). It is a short piece of three minutes +.
BTW, the Shamisen really does look like a fretless three string sliding CBG but sounds more like a banjo and it's got animal skin on the body as well.
