Framus. And BA 2018 is my favourite concert - Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean, Slaying the Dreamer, Dead Boy's Poem, Nemo, Gethsemane, I Want My Tears Back, 10th Man Down, Come Cover Me, The Carpenter, Sacrament of Wilderness all superb versions and the bonus of a piped version of Swanheart.

And extra hugs for appreciating Emppu, because that dude really got tunes and feelings right in his playing. He is childhood friend with Tuomas so he knows all the backing ideas and feelings behind this song. So like you hinted, this could maybe explain his extraordinary posture here.

I get tears in my eyes every time I listen to this song! I can understand what Tuomas went through...as a lot of artists go through times of being deeply depressed or just unsure of what they do is actually meaning anything to anyone. Even at 66 years old,, I sometimes feel that what I put down on my canvases doesn't mean anything to anyone.

Can't go wrong with EC! They do referr to the music videos of their most iconic songs during the live shows (costumes, wigs, 'dance' moves...) so it sometimes might be confusing to watch a live version without knowing the ov. We Got The Moves has become one of their most popular songs and the live show videos of it are great, especially the "Live 2022" or the "Live in Denver, CO US Tour 2023". Parasite is one of the more serious songs, the music video is made of live footage over the studio audio.

Floor sings here as she normally do,like a siren of paradise but like to point also that how she moves,like she tells story not just singing but also her with body...She really is extraordinary talented. When you mentioned Finnish culture,concerning that boy and swan on backgroud of the stage,it is from old Finnish mythology. When human dies,he or she, need to cross River Of Death and for each human there is swan for waiting to guide human over the river, to the better world. An old precept says that you should never kill a swan becuse that bird is your guide over the River Of Death....And with out guide you can not reach opposite shore.

They are great musicians from Germany, they blend typical EDM-music with Metal and some other styles. They don't take themselves serious, but their music. I would appreciate more of them on your channel! They also have a new collaboration with Baby Metal, you could watch that next!

Well, they are professionals. They are silly and goofy most of the times, but they know exactly what they are doing and are great and talented musician. They say they consider themself as a live band. Every song is made for playing live. The funny videos is for those who can't go the concerts. And, well, maybe also for reactors like you... "Pump it" or "Hypa, Hypa" would be a great follow-up.

Yes they are amazing live. Try their live performance of Hypa Hypa from Cologne 2023 (Lanxess Arena). Their official videos are great fun though - Hypa Hypa, Pump It. And for one of their more serious songs Parasite. They recently did a collaboration with Babymetal - Ratata.

Unlucky Morpheus is so incredible. It is such a lavish experience to see two lead guitarists, a lead violinist, a speed drummer, a solid bassist, and a powerful female voice on the same stage. They are such a musically talented bunch and one of the most underrated bands out there. If you like them, I recommend "Black Pentagram(live version)" next. Enjoy🤘

Hi. I got to see Plush live twice and was mightily impressed each time. This tune is a good one, but their song catalogue is usually a bit heavier. PLEASE react to more of Plush. I strongly recommend two songs off their recent EP, "Find the Beautiful." The first is their cover of Heart's Barracuda, which has become quite famous itself. I also heartily recommend their tune "Left Behind," a rock anthem if ever there was one. Their OMV of that one is the one to react to. I'm 69 years old and have seen most of the greats. I feel The Warning and Plush are superlative and will only grow in popularity. Cheers!!

Thanks for the reaction and comments. This song is a banger! For the most part, Kanami (lead guitar) composes the music and Miku (rhythm guitar/vocals) writes the lyrics. Miku (bass guitar) and Akane (drums) have a lot of input for their own individual parts. So the songs are, in the end, a result of far more collaborations amongst the members than meets the eye.

The Zepp Tokyo live version of this song was the “go to” recommendation for introducing Band Maid to new listeners. “Thrill,” “Real Existence,” and “Freedom” are three popular songs that the label had written for Band Maid (although they have lots of input, like lyrics and bass solos) “Alone” was their first self written song and once that hit, the label’s songwriters were unemployed. Kanami remains the primary composer; Miku the lyrics, with all the others actively part of the songwriting and arrangements. In fact, “Blooming” was the result of a homework assignment from Kanami to the others. They all came back with melodies, riffs or other details and Kanami blended them all together for what is considered a “masterpiece”

Miku is the guitarist that is singing with Saiki. Kanami shreds the solo. You can tell this is older just by the outfits, especially Misa and Saiki's. Those 2 never cared for the maid outfits, and as you have seen in more recent videos, have made modifications. I believe Saiki wasn't even told about the maid outfits until after she agreed to join. "Thrill' is older, but still one of my favorites of theirs.

I believe the ages of the members at the time this video was released (2015) is as follows: Saiki -21, MISA-22, Miku-23, Kanami-23 and Akane-24. The music was all written by outside writers until 2016. With the recording of "Alone" in 2016 and almost all subsequent songs have been written by the band. Music starts with Kanami with input from MISA and Akane. Lyrics are usually by Miku although Saiki has also provided lyrics for several songs.

You wondered if they perform live at such a speed. Well, ya gotta check out their live performance video MANNERS/BLACKHOLE. It is a two-song video with BLACK HOLE executed at 220bpm. Thank you for continuing to react to my favorite band BAND-MAID.

For a contrast, how about you take a look at "Memories Of Wind And Wine" for us. To my mind, their most beautiful instrumental. You will most probably hear that 'Old English' folk song , 'My Lady Greensleeves', as the foundation. A truly beautiful piece of work. I wish they would do a rendition of it where Saiki sings a few verses of the original song.

Audio is good, your video is a little bright or showing a lot of whiteish tint. The song is the one that was a make or break moment for Band-Maid, they were going to be cancelled and broken up by their label but it went viral and the rest is history! Next milestone is "Alone", the first song written, composed and arranged by Band-Maid allowed onto an album and set the tone for their future. The Just Bring It album was the result, which is a favorite of many Band-Maid fans. This is the first song I heard from these amazing ladies and the combo of MISA and Kanami sold me right away! They have only gotten better from here!

Saiki was the youngest member, just turning 21 when this was filmed. Akane, I believe, is the oldest at 24 in this video. Written by Kentaro Akutsu with lyrics and arrangements heavily influenced by the Maids, “Thrill” was chosen as a first song by them because it sounded more like the “cool music” they wanted to play. For me, it was my introduction to Band Maid. I wasn’t blown away, but I was impressed and curious. Just enough to listen to another song or two. With Band Maid, that’s all it takes to set the hook.

Thx Grandad. "Thrill" is the song that saved BAND-MAID. Management had no plans to release anymore material until it went vent viral. The interesting fact being "Thrill" was only a B-side to the single "Ai to Jonetsu no Matador" but the Maids liked the heavier side of "Thrill" more & decided to blow their budget on making an MV for it instead. As you've seen it was the most important decision they ever made :)

"Thrill" is the song that saved the band from being broken up and really helped to launch the following that has become the LEGION OF MAIDIACS. The talent was apparent in this video and they have never sat still on their sound. They are always evolving, tightening their cohesiveness, their sound, and their stage presence. Band-Maid is rapidly becoming the supergroup of the 2020's. A perfect vision!!!!!
