I love your videos. I taught 37 years and wrote Interior Design curriculum. In retirement, I work with color in a well loved store that hat has quality, timeless classic clothing, although personally, I am more fashion forward. I love scarves, and most accessories. I wear jewel tones and had ashe blonde hair with dark green eyes. Thank you for speaking to women.
Just a touch of accessories really set you apart from other women. I have been told I dress so elegant, like i have lots of money. Which has never been the case, I just know how to create , blend, and look different while still being classy. I love my over 50 style. So much fun!!!!. Thanks for your videos, they inspire me so very much!!
Great video! I especially loved the comment advising to think about what an item is going to do for you. I am in the process of elevating my wardrobe and editing. This is great advice. I have too many utilitarian pieces I don’t love and that aren’t doing anything for me in my wardrobe.
This may be the best styling video I have seen! The L and R wardrobe photos were so dramatically obvious…therefore hugely helpful in making decisions thank you. I am now subscribed to your channel
Hi and thanks for passing by. The belts shown here are from small local independent stores. You can find nice and similar belts on www.anthropologie.com :)
Excellent. Thank you. I nearly bought some ballet flats until I realized they had round toes. Not only is that dated, it's unflattering. The square toes will soon look dated too, so I'm going to look for almond toed ones. I agree on the importance of shoes, but I do hate heels.
Hi Shirley, you're most welcome! Glad you found it useful. Yes, trends have a short life so it's important to stay alert to what's happening without overdoing it :)
Excellent info as usual! I have a request: Could you suggest more options for the footwear and a few of the other items? Some Zara items (denim culottes) were not available in the US, and there are limited sizes of the linked shoes. Found it difficult to locate suitable substitutes for the black CESARE heels, or skin-toned shoes that would complement these outfits. Thanks much!
So glad you found it helpful! And I appreciate your suggestions. I have included a few more options on the shopboard (link in the description box) Let me know if this helps
I don’t get “the blazer”. I have never worn a blazer. I can’t think of a place or situation that I would wear a blazer. It seems overkill to me. The unnecessary piece.
Re shoes over 60 so I ammlimited as to height of heel and I am also very hard to fit having a Bwidth front of foot and an A or AA heel. Pumps or court shoes slide on my heel. I have tried using the stick on heel inserts they are a useless mess. I liokmfor slingbacks even when in my 20s slingback heeñs pr high sandals were my solution. Now I look for kitten heel slingbacks or slightñy heeled sandals dressy to casual. Inmboots usuaññy socks help my heel fit. Now as to style FRONTS I HAVE to wear what I can find since I am so hard to fit. Just one popular manufacturer Izack Mizrahi makes drivIng,samdals that fit y heel. I have one pair in luggage tan snakeskin ...those are my dress up casuañ shpes. I live abroad and nothing I can find in this cpuntrynie other brandfit me. I have some great. I have a pr of gold sandals with four adjustable strap with velcro closure thick cream soles which are my BEST waking option. These I wear with dkirts, dresses, everything because I have to when walking our cobblestone streets. I do have snealer type shoes but thpse have to have socks as well. Boots also often dont fit me right. So I cannot afford to CARE whether a shoe is almond shaped, square roed, round toed or SLIGHTLY pointed so STYLE cannot be my top consideration. Tjat breaks heart but I have the fet I have. I live in a tropical country and can wear sandals daytime year round nights are too chilly THAT saves me though, the sharp cobblestones prohibit leather soled ones.
I would love a video on how to choose a scarf. What prints are classic.

I would sell my soul to be able to wear heels again. I have severe arthritis in my ankle and foot from an injury. No way can I wear heels.
Sorry to hear about your injury. Heels aren’t as praised as they were before and luckily there are so many beautiful flats currently
