Loving your videos. I am researching 270 awnings, with a plan to get one for my Land Rover 110. This one and the Howling moon brand are on my shortlist. You mentioned in your comments that you have had some issues with the Darche. Can give us any more detail please? The only negative comments I have read online are about it being a bit tricky to get back in it's bag when packing up.
Darche is 10kg lighter than howling moon. Both are good brands. a zipper failed on my awning the first time I used it (camping) so that was annoying, but they’re sending another out under warranty. It’s important to pack them up without crushing the zips
I noticed with tailgate you said it 'just cleared' but also noticed it hadn't actually fully opened and was resting on bars. Can you still slide fridge out and open lid of it if tailgate isnt fully open as it looks tight... ?
Looks like tailgate doesn't open much on re watching. Only opens to your eye level meaning major ducking under tailgate to get access and nearly impossible to access fridge. Shame... I guess nothing a bit of custom raising of awning couldn't fix with some newer custom brackets for future...
