Australia won 5 out of their 6 World Cups on Foreign soil because they weren't crying about luck, toss or pitch conditions

    • @SilentHotdog28
      @SilentHotdog28 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

Exactly. India doctored the pitch to their liking and Australia caught them out and used the pitch to their own advantage, they turned an away game, into a home game.......that is very difficult to do. Plus chasing is not Australia's strong suit, infact Australia have a fairly poor record chasing. But Australia were defiant and chose to go all guns blazing using their weakness, but turned it into a strength. India were caught with their hand in the cookie jar and had now escape, they just had to face the punishment. There was no plan B, or plan C......Even when India looked to be in a commanding position, Australia were cool, calm and collected and just stuck to plan and it worked in their favour......I think India were shellshocked.

Dont blame the pitch or the toss. In reality Australia outsmarted india in all departments of the game. That catch of Rohit by Travis head was unbelievable and he also played a innings of 137 and won the world cup for his country. The Aussies are the real heroes.

Rajdeep is right. Indian cricket authorities over strategized with a slow pitch, though Indian team wanted to bat first and the two Indian spinners are not that big turners of the ball. Aussies took advantage of that strategic mismatch between Indian pitch administration and the team. This is what finally happens when you put a major politician's son who has not touched a cricket bat to head the BCCI.
Also, this same son's bad, highly corrupt decisions ( like banning Sri Lanka) will create a definite diplomatic headache for Indian government in the coming months.

if the so called world beaters who are paid in millions can't bat on a certain type of pitch, you need to then invest in players who can. Given in this situation if AUS batted first they would have ended up with a better score. End of the day, Rohit Sharma played selfless cricket and Kohli and Rahul played tsk tsk game for god knows what and Kohli has had a trend of bringing down the run rate whenever he comes in to bat and don't give me the bull about his 50 50's as what matters to me is the cup not self goals. India has to learn how to win big tournaments and the media HAS to stop over hyping players for gods sake. Anyway they will now win bilateral and IPL on the way so all will be forgotten and honky dory.

Aussies were not up to the mark in this tournament and had to scrap thru to get to top 4. Look at the way they played against AFG.
But they played a good match in finals and the conditions favored them. India was the top team in the entire tournament and deserved to be the champs. Yes, but shouldn't be more than enough time has passed to say 'what a tournament we had'? I mean if this is how we're going to play World Cups, then chances of winning is around the same. 2003 also had a 'great tournament' but ended up choked by Aussies? So haven't we not learned from that? Didn't people say learn from it on that day post-match and the days followed and yet 20 years later, we just leave it as 'what a great tournament we had. Ya one team has to win but come on now it's time to gear up and perform well in the finals. I think Shubman Gill's wicket made all the difference. He's such a good player who not only rotates the strike but gets those big clean risk-free sixes and fours and for him to go so softly not to mention Shreyas Iyer's dismissal, these were the situations where the tide turned towards Australia. India was outplayed by Australia. They had a meticulous strategy from the start, from their statistical research they knew to bowl first due to the dew having an impact later on the pitch. Rotatating the bowling often so India couldn’t get into a rhythm which is what happened after they lost 3 wickets. Their clever fielding placement as well to restrict runs and they were aggressive in the field from the start. After Australia lost 3 wickets they stayed calm and still played aggressively unlike India who hit just one 4 in 90 balls. Australia has won 6 World Cups for a reason.

This is the problem with us Indians however highly academically proficient we may be we will continue to remain a poor quality of humans, we are never humble or graceful in defeat and always look for excuses.
This clearly proves we are only literate and not educated and that’s because we lack quality teachers and our education system sucks which is till now only exam centric. We may be outstanding doctors, engineers or corporate professionals but shall never be outstanding human beings.
Would the panelist Uthappa be saying the same had Australia lost the finals batting first? .. would we then have talked about the wicket ??
Why we stayed mum on the Pakistan, SL and the Kiwis game?? In all these matches didnt India enjoy the rub of the green ?Then also against England, batting first India were bowled out for only 229 but bundled England for 129, why didn’t we speak about the pitch then ? Because we had won ! that why !
Also in the finals Rohit was blazing away in the 1st 10 overs, 80 runs were scored then even if we had played sensibly we still could have reached 280 but we lost wickets and Aus fielded and bowled brilliantly and that has to do with skills however bad the pitch may be, u still have to play well .
Then again aren’t the first 20 overs under lights supposed to be challenging for the chasing team ? we saw SA ENG SL struggle against the moving ball so why couldn’t we bowl as well in the finals ?? That’s because the Aussies counter attacked scoring 14 in the first over itself and if that ball off Bumrah to Warner had gone to the slip fielder , then wouldn’t it have been a different story ?
Please don’t forget India had some luck too in Smith’s LBW decision but nobody is speaking about it .. had Smith reviewed that decision he would have been not out because the replay showed ‘impact outside’
They tactically survived the initial period and India then suddenly experienced an unfamiliar and unexpected situation and succumbed to the big match pressure and frenzied crowd expectation.
That’s the reason we lost .. the Aussies took us hollow .. accept it and be graceful Mr Uttappa.

So you are going investigate why ICC couldn’t prepare a pitch so that India could have won? Is that right? Whether you won all matches in previous round ., it will come down to who can handle pressure . Australia had plans in place and outplayed India .
India was going into the ground thinking that they have already won the match before it’s started. Arrogance .

India bowled only 2 balls into the pitch during the Australian innings. Both resulted in the ball being hard to hit. But they were afraid to continue with them. It doesn't ever change. Raina only wanna remember Kohli's hundreds and Shami's wickets. Rajdeep is probably the most rational Indian fan I have seen this world cup. Tokens from this world cup:
    1. Cummin's captaincy in the final, his bowling performance and also him standing alone with the Cup.
    2. Shami bagging seven wickets.
    3. Zampa taking 23 wickets.
    4. Travis Heads 134 and the catch he took in the final.
    5. Maxwell's 201*, especially given the position we were in.
    6. Angelo Mathew's strap ripping under pressure.
    7. Kohli's 85 against Australia in the group match.
    8. Rohit Sharma taking on Pakistani Bowlers.
    9. NZ scoring 400+ and still losing to Pakistan.
    10. Afghans defending their total against Pommies.
    11. South Africa successfully chasing Pakistan.

Aussies manliness is such brutally devastating that they humiliated BCCIs bolo juban keshari and kamla pasand gangs, ICCs sold out punks and Indian central government all at the same time, remember you are talking about Sir Don's team which chased an unthinkable 400+ runs in the final 5th day of the Ashes in that single day in complete uncovered pitches, without any proper launch because all the food was being rationed all over the world because of WW2, without any proper medical treatment and to this day this is the greatest victory that has ever been archived in cricket field yes more than their 2 unbeatable unplayable World Cup winning squad and they did it in such conditions that's what makes you something exceptional and you talk about batting in rough conditions and bowling under due and winning the match go look at 1996 World Cup semifinal West Indies had less than 50 runs to score with 8 wickets in hands and there was due all over the ground and then Aussies showed levels to Brain Lara, Richardson, Chanderpaul, Holder to that legendary West Indies squad and after that game West Indies had a mental breakdown moment so the more you give pressure to Australia or the more you try to put them down through various propaganda the more their ANZAC warriors nature will come out even Suresh Raina can see how you are foul crying on everything so then play in IPL and get a feminist trophy in a gift box
