Audi B7 S4 4.2L exhaust note - muffler delete

My 2005.5 B7 S4 with muffler delete + tips and that's it! The 4.2L really wakes up for a great exhaust note - and there isn't really much cabin drone at all.
Cheap and easy alternative to a full exhaust setup if you don't plan on doing many engine mods to the 4.2.

Hey man that sounds absolutely perfect! You 100% sure thats just a muffler delete? This is the nicest sounding one I've seen. All the other muffler deletes I've seen sound too raspy. But yours has that perfect rumble to it. Just wanted to make sure before I go through it with my b7 s4 too.

Yup, just a muffler delete! Great sound when on the throttle, and not much drone on the freeway. Great value for the $!

Thanks for the video man. So was did a removal of the backboxes? And you left the Middle resonators in?

Only a muffler delete right?
I own a B7 S4 and so far I've had the resonators removed but that didn't improve
the sound very much. Maybe like 2%. Now I'm going in next Monday to do the
muffler delete but I honestly don't want to bother unless it's quite a big difference.

This is purely a muffler delete with new tips installed, so you can expect this tone with a muffler delete no problem.

so the cabin noise isn't too bad ya say? sounds perfect rather than wasting 2k on an exhaust. not worth it in my opinion after hearing this

Cabin drone isn't all that bad at all. Definitely less than most full exhaust setups where you get a headers/downpipes. I have a small kid and he doesn't care, nor does the wife - so that's a win in my book!

Eh, they're just whatever were laying around at my local muffler shop. I think they say "Wicked Flow" on them.
