Flooding is a big issue this year. My brother, a long haul trucker is still dealing with large flooded areas in the midwest. I am glad all the Morgans are safe. It is clear all the sunshine a fella really nees is in the smile of a Ms Morgan. God bless you all.
Well as much rain as we've had this year in southern Mi I'm glad it rains alittle everyday instead of all at once. Glad you have all the equipment to fix everything and thank God it's not any worse!
Wow! The power of moving water. I know it will take some time to clean up after that much rain, but at least you have the tools at you disposal to speed the clean up of your property and to help out your neighbors.
Yes the power of water. Glad you are alright and hope the clean up doesn’t take too much time away from all your vacation plans. I expect you will keep that log splitter busy!
Thankful y'all are well and safe. Praying for you and your neighbors' and family's property repair. We all should pray for so many that experienced tornadoes. ☝🙏
Yeah, we had those rains three years ago. It's good to live on top of a hill. We had roads washed out, we couldn't get out anywhere. A few days later and lots of stone all was well again! Still haven't fixed our spillway on our dam, the end of it washed out about 7' deep...
This is the first time I saw this video. For these situations, I would highly recommend a Generac whole house generator. I have one and love it. Be safe be prepared.
Omg Looks like a lot of damage I hope everyone ok. You have the Attitude that what’s done is done just have to start the clean up. Mike you are a pure gent checking the damage of everyone around you making sure they are ok. It must have some power behind it to bring rocks etc down. Take care as you say it’s repairable you certainly have a great Attitude on life .👍🏴
Hello Morgan's, Liz and I were and still are praying for you and your family. We are so glad to see that y'all are safe and sound and we are praying that your power will be back on very soon. Be safe cleaning that mess up.
It's amazing what the weight of water can do. I live at NC Coast, fortunately we are at a elevation where we didn't get flooding during last Fall hurricane but so much flooding and destruction in the area. Several years ago on my property in Central NC we had 8" of rain in 90 minutes, washed out my driveway culvert pipe (8' dia. x 30' long), the water pushed it down into the woods and wrapped it around trees.
It is almost embarrassingly exciting to check out and plan for the repair of damage like that! Understanding that some folks have it bad and need real help first like you are doing. Beyond that, what fun lies ahead in fixing the damage with man tools!
Love the attitude-things happen, now get to work to clean it up. So glad nothing too bad happened for you guys, everyone is safe is the #1 priority. Awesome to be able to help neighbors too, one of the things I love about the people of our area-we generally don't ask for help, but give it freely. We didn't get near that amount of rain down here in "The Panhandle" from this storm, but plenty of washouts on my way to work last night. Stay safe!
That’s a lot of water. Glad you are all alright. A tractor like that sure is handy. We heard you had a tornado in eastern Pennsylvania. We certainly had plenty of them here. We were in the storm cellar three different times already. We got lots of water here but just some hail damage to our roof. A lot of people weren’t so fortunate. We are so thankful. Thanks for the video. 👍❤️
Well ,thank goodness everyone is fine that is really extreme, we don’t very often get massive storms but when they come they hit the coastline and we suffer massive cliff erosion. We had a huge storm here in Northampton in 1998 when dozens of homes were flooded and Millions of £ worth of damage and lives were lost anyway good luck in getting things back to normal 🚜👍
I'm glad everyone is safe. We live just outside of Cincinnati, and we got about an inch of rain, hail, and severe thunderstorms. Our power was out for 6 hours yesterday. Best investment we ever made: whole house generator. It's not automatic, but it works well. I converted the biggest generator Harbor Freight had (13.5 KWH Predator) to propane. I did all the work myself, and it's more than paid for itself in the three years we've had it.
That was one heck of a storm. Glad to see that, for the most part, everything is OK and the damage is manageable. Most importantly, no one was hurt. At least you have the right equipment to facilitate the cleanup.
WOW! All that potential firewood. Plus backhoe, box blade ,land plane.....lots of work for Mike and his equipment. You have job security. Seriously, I am glad you all are well and your homes are intact. Hope you get the power on soon. No electricity really sucks.
My sympathies Mike we don’t have as many acres as you but in 2012 we had a major storm rain / flooding it was a mess and two years ago straight line wind and we’re still clearing up blow downs from the nobody hurt no home/ building damage and that’s all that counts the rest is just another project take care
We had a similar storm that came threw Finger lakes NY. Hit quick and dropped 2 inches of rain in an hour. We were right on the corner of that storm. God bless ya! Love that you keep a positive attitude!
Hey Mike well you keep asking so I am finally commenting. Think I have watched all your videos. One of my favorite channels for sure. We live on 30 acres in NE Kansas and raise some goats, have a ranger and a 55 Hp Massey Ferguson cab tractor. This video resonated with me because we had an EF4 tornado pass within 5 miles of our house last night and we got 2.5 inches of rain in less than an hour so I can totally relate to the power of running water and Mother Nature in general. Congrats on 70 K and keep it up. Thanks!
Sorry to see that the weather we had in Tulsa, OK flooding our city went your way. Glad to see you & Melissa did not suffer a great amount of damage. Glad Camp Morgan survived! Well I guess we get to see you make lemonade from all the lemons...We get to see more great videos from you! I understand the CrossFit addiction Melissa has. Need to make a WOD for Melissa.Maybe an AMRAP with a shovel and the stone! Pat & Paula Harker from the Harker Family Farm
Glad you are all okay. It's great that you are always positive no matter the circumstances and that your first thoughts are how can I help neighbours, mother and sister. Wonderful values you display.
Great attitude when life throws that much at you. I've seen some mighty storms, and 5-6" in a shot is always a damage bomb. Hope you guys don't get too much of the residual as this latest hurricane peels up the East Coast and pushes rain all over the place up there.
Nice video of the destructive force of water. I heard Kapper talk about you folks and this video popped up. I have a APC battery backup surge protector 1300. The battery has lasted 6 years and still going strong. When the power goes out, the generator fires up and sometimes I never notice the power went off. Great you have the over flow drain in pond.
Wow Mike sorry for your trouble and mess! Poor Melissa looked very scared! I wish I lived closer I would love to help you clean it up Thank God the dam held on the pond! Good work! I got this video Wednesday Have a day
Hi Mike, Sorry to see all that mess after the storm. Glad you, your family and your home is safe. Your positivity in this kind of situation is inspiring. I’m sure you will fix everything better than what it was, that’s how you are, a perfectionist!
I feel your pain! We had 41/2 inches in about 2 hours s few years back! I had just planted my fields prior to this rain event. It was the worst mess you ever saw. It totally washed my seeds away. What do you do? You replant when it dries out. Funny thing about it, I had peas and beans coming up in my corn. Corn coming up in my peas and beans and tomatoes growing out in the woods. Some of my seed washed onto my neighbors property and he had butter beans and corn coming up in his front yard. The good thing, we never lost our power. I was prepared because I bought an 8k generator after the last ice storm we had. We lost power for 26 days and eat a lot of meat and other frozen things. You are right, it could have been a lot worse! Y’all have a good-un!!
In our county, we have deep trenches on both sides of all the roads (even dirt roads), with tiles under all the driveways. All that water goes into a reservoir with a dam, so they can let a little out at a time. We are truly blessed, that when we get torrential rains or snow runoff, our properties are protected. W Penn huh? Ever think about gold panning in some of that silt coming down out of the those hills?
Hello Mike, yes a lot of work involve but with your equipment you should be able to fix all that. Here in Quebec the snow cause a lot of problems too but differents from yours, a 5 years old bridge 32 feet long broke right in the middle, it goes to our island inches the middle of our pond, our garden and a fireplace are there so work involved too, was not in my projects this year. This winter many firs and spruces felt down for near 2 trucks trailers of logs, So big job coming. We received your vid tonight Wednesday the 29th of May, so you know and I know what we have to do now. Take care Morgan's friends and we continue to follow you. Tyrrs.
Glad yall are ok , great attitude Mike. We here in west texas have been getting alot of rain and we so badly need it , i think we've been in a 10 yr drought but God gives wat we need .
Sorry that all happened Mike. Just extended the to-do list exponentially. Glad you folks are ok for sure! Take care and stay safe Morgans! Hello to all! I enjoyed Eva’s new video..a carpenter in the rough!🙂🙂 God bless friends!✝️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Really glad things are not any worse than they are ...Also on a side note its refreshing to see how you help your neighbors not many people do that anymore props to you !
Glad you and your family are ok. I live just east of Houston in Crosby, TX and our house flooded during hurricane Harvey a couple years ago. Like you said, all it is is work as long as no one was injured. It will take a bit to get back to normal but you will probably end up with some improvements when all said and done. Really enjoy your channel.
I live just above the storm,on the Pa/Ny border. Storm sure looked bad on radar. Glad we didn't get a tornado! And nobody got killed! Thankful that you have the equipment and talent to fix the damages. And lucky us, we will get some good videos! Stay safe my friend.
Hey folks, glad you're all safe. That's some rough weather for sure. It's pretty bad when you have to get out in it before the rain settles some. You'll get the messes around your place cleared up and some for the neighbors too I'm sure! Like someone else said, you'll have lots more footage to video and show everyone. Just keep being safe , and please no more footage of driving thru moving water over roads or driveways. Too many folks have no idea when they are unsafe and get swept over and lives are lost. Thanks for sharing.
When it rains it pours, and it sure did there mike, glad nothing to major happened great attitude! And as you mentioned some people have been devastated hopefully all is well, take care and thanks for sharing.
Hey Mike, Melissa and family. Irwin guy here. So glad that you guys are okay. Hopefully all of you and your neighbors have power back. We had something in the military called PMA.... it stands for positive mental attitude. And it has gotten me through some of the worst things that a person can imagine. I am sure glad you have it because it definitely makes the difference! Don't let any of this get you down and if you need a hand I'm right around the corner give me a holler and I'll shoot out to help
Terrible flooding in Kansas and Missouri the past few days, as well. Farmers losing everything. You're right, a little tractor time and labor and you should be back where you started. Good luck, and stay safe.
Sorry about the mess you have to clean up. But am happy to know everyone is ok. Be safe . Might want too look into a Generac generator for your house. I have one and it's a real blessing. Good luck and God bless you and yours.
We are in a small little unincorporated town of like 100 people, but we have enough folks & buildings to have "city gas". So we installed a Generac system that runs off the gas lines. It automatically switches on/off as needed.
I feel for y'all. Because it's been raining here almost every day to or three times a day for two weeks and overnight to . And your right all you can do is clean up and fix things. Your in our prayers stay safe. Love ya'll and god bless. 😊
"Renewable energy processing center" That one took me a second. That's the best thing I've heard in long time. People always give me a funny look when I tell them that wood burning in considered a "green" way to heat but it really is. It's renewable and I get my wood from folks who want trees taken out of their yards and such so I'm not contributing to any kind of deforestation and I try to plant a few trees each year to make up for what I'm burning...plus the wood burner is hard to beat. It heats my whole house for nothing more than a little bit of time here and there throughout the year cutting and stacking wood.
Sorry about the damage. Your attitude and approach to address and improve the condition instead of becoming a victim should stand as an inspiration to all.
We have been getting a lot of rain too. We are up to 20" in May. Our average annual rain fall is 44". I recall once we got over 3" of rain in an hour and 15 minutes. The creeks were up.
God bless. It can always be worse. I am thankful always. We just had a good storm here 5/29/19. I live in the hills and have seen small streams become rivers in minutes around here. We are in a tornado ally and under a watch.
Oh man! This is rough on you guys. I'm glad that you didn't have to suffer too many losses! On the 'brighter' side,..this will be a basis now for more video stories, I'm guessing.
Mike , you have your hands full ! I have a 417 versa handler ! If you need help I'm here ! I know what your dealing with ! 2006 we received 7" of rain , it flooded most of the town of Polk pa . We worked for days loading 35 role offs . I used my Tella handler & log truck loading trees , washers & furnaces & anything that needed picked up ! Good luck to you & God Bless !
We need SOME of that rain here in North Florida. It's been dangerously hot and dry. We saw around 30 acres burn just north of our property last week. The damage you all have looks a lot like here after a hurricane. Lots of work! Hope you get power back on soon.
That's a heck of a storm. I live in Northern Alabama, and we have had several storms like that this year already. We were in Michigan in February during their last Bomb Cyclone. That was a lot of fun too.
I know it's a mess but at least everyone is safe. After your tour, I was surprised that more trees were not down. All the drainage and improvements you all have made seemed to limit the damage. Clean up at this level may be a blessing down the road.
Lots of rain. Sort of along the lines of a favorite movie: We got a long way to go and a short time to get there... As prepared as one can be a weather event can certainly be humbling. Glad it wasn't worse and that you are all safe.
Glad to hear everyone is OK, and no serious damage. We all know what the next several videos will be about. As you said the power of water is incredible. God speed my friend.
Understand folks, we had that here last week.....still waiting for it to dry a bit....we got 8.59 inches...blew the concrete block safety barriers off one side of the dip and to the center of the drive on the other. But like you said all a guy can do is work on it and get it fixed back up.
I am very happy you and your family are Okay and the damage wasn't as bad as it might have been. Be safe while you start on your unplanned summer project. Ray
Awesome storm video, sorry about the mess. The power of moving water is truely amazing. New rivers and ditches form naturally. I was watching the radar and saw PA was getting hammered. Today too.
I remember back in the early 90's we got 21 inches of rain during a three day period in the thumb area of Michigan... getting smacked with 3 to 5 is somewhat better I suppose. Take care and be safe with your clean up adventures.
I am happy that there was no serious damage and everyone is OK. Like you say, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start shoveling again, or whatever needs to be done, always look on the bright side. It is like that here, hurricane coming, pickup all moveable objects, secure your windows, gas up the generator, get out the gas camp stove, and wait till it's over. Start picking up your yard debris then help your neighbors. Hopefully not this year though.
I have to mimic D. Quirke: Your attitude on this is just unreal. Your right, you can't do anything about the weather - ride along and clean up when she gets done. Keep the Faith and fair well.
Glad everyone is okay. Looks like your vacation to-do list just got updated. ;) We live in SW Connecticut and last year had 7" of rain in one day. Never saw so much flooding in our area. We appreciate the weather alerts a lot more now. Be careful during the clean-up.
Pretty spectacular. I know what it means when it is raining like this. Luckily your house is sitting on a hill. It shows how important it is to keep the ditches always clean and making them bigger as they seem necessary. When mother nature gets angry, they are alyway to small. Same with the pipes.
Glad your pond didn't blow out. We had a similar storm a couple years ago. I don't think our woods road will ever be the same. We had it graded with a dozer but some of the damage is just irreversible.
Man.... I seen all the bad weather on tv that tore up Ohio with the twisters, winds and heavy rain headed y'alls way on radar and was sure hoping y'all made it through all right. Glad everything is yard/drive detail and not house repair... GRAPPLE, crunch and cut time on that tangled mess by the REPC. If you was around my neck of the woods I'd sure lend a hand.
Last night, tornadoes hit Kansas and Missouri pretty hard. We were pretty lucky where we live. Before last night, the Missouri River was over its banks and almost up to I-70. And we just got some more rain. Like you said Mike, we were lucky and just a little cleanup here.
I sure wish we had that 92 to 94 everyday 10 + days In the middle of a very nasty drought I think you know I'm in Middle Tennessee we had 20-plus inches of rain in February and it was about the last time we really had any, we we're flooded Sorry to see all the cleanup it's a mess you're so lucky you have the equipment to do it with lots of folks will have to depend on somebody else Last year here in Middle Tennessee we had 88 inches of rainI'm actually a reporting weather station at my house
Mike now you know where to put drainage and whatever modifications to your road that you need in case this happens again. Sounds like a great challenge! Enjoy!
We've been having the same weather out here in Illinois. Love your videos. Home is originally Westmoreland County and after 40+ years, I still miss it.
Mike, you have a good outlook on so much devastation. But nothing that a little elbow grease cant take care of👍. Here we got hit with ping pong size hail and flash flooding now I'll need a new roof on a new building . But all we can do is pick our self back up and brush our self off! Hang in there buddy , guess you'll be very busy this summer
Flooding is a big issue this year. My brother, a long haul trucker is still dealing with large flooded areas in the midwest. I am glad all the Morgans are safe. It is clear all the sunshine a fella really nees is in the smile of a Ms Morgan. God bless you all.

Good Morning. Jan 8,2022. This video just came on. Many channels I’ve staring to watch has the same videos from the past. Great to see them.
Thankful y'all are well and safe. Praying for you and your neighbors' and family's property repair. We all should pray for so many that experienced tornadoes. ☝🙏
Next video- which zero turn gets stuck more in the mud.
I enjoy how you are taking everything in stride without complaining. Great attitude!

Hi Mike,
Sorry to see all that mess after the storm. Glad you, your family and your home is safe. Your positivity in this kind of situation is inspiring. I’m sure you will fix everything better than what it was, that’s how you are, a perfectionist!

I know the feeling of that rain. Just this month we have had 23.5 inches of rain here in east Texas. In just one rain storm we had 12 inches.
You have such a positive outlook on things. Thanks for being an inspiration and helping me see things from a different perspective.
Kinda like our Hurricane Harvey! We were high and dry but devastation all around ! Many still trying to recover ! Best of lick to you guys !

Good generator but way overpriced. Glad it works though.
Good luck with the clean up. We’ve been dealing with rains like this almost weekly for the past 2 months in the Ozarks.
Unbelievable footage Mike. Glad to see you took it so well. The tractors and attachments are going to get a workout that's for sure!
Oh man! This is rough on you guys. I'm glad that you didn't have to suffer too many losses!
On the 'brighter' side,..this will be a basis now for more video stories, I'm guessing.
Looks like you're handling it well. Attitude is the key to overcoming these weather events with your sanity intact.
I seriously hope everyone is ok. Thinking of you and your family.
Now that is A messy mess!! There is a Tremendous amount of Damage!!!🤨👍👊
I love the fact that you are already figuring out how to help you mom and sister and your neighbors! How you get power back soon.
Lot of rain! Your storm look like one of our hurricanes. Good attitude, good luck and God bless. 😊☔️🌪☔️🙏
Understand folks, we had that here last week.....still waiting for it to dry a bit....we got 8.59 inches...blew the concrete block safety barriers off one side of the dip and to the center of the drive on the other. But like you said all a guy can do is work on it and get it fixed back up.
Good luck with the cleanup Mike. Bless you for looking after the neighbors as well as the family.
Today too.
See if you can mention the dates in your videos. I assumed the video was done today based on the radar I saw yesterday..but maybe not.
Wow water is so powerful!! Glad everyone enjoyed take out!! More great videos to come!! So many episodes!!
Glad everyone is okay. Looks like your vacation to-do list just got updated. ;)
We live in SW Connecticut and last year had 7" of rain in one day. Never saw so much flooding in our area. We appreciate the weather alerts a lot more now. Be careful during the clean-up.
Glad you and your family are OK. Looks like more tractor therapy to clean up the mess. Always look forward to your videos.
Good thing you have Sherman to help patch things up!
So glad your family is safe. Just a few more items in the Job Jar.....
Harrisburg area had a tornado today and a ton of rain but not that much..glad you're all alright!
Lot a lot a work, but then that just means more videos! Glad your all safe and the house was not damaged, keep on keepin on Mike and Melissa!
Glad everyone is safe. All the best on the clean up!
Thank God you all ok. Well you have a lot more material to shoot now. Stay safe!!
I sure wish we had that
92 to 94 everyday 10 + days
In the middle of a very nasty drought
I think you know I'm in Middle Tennessee
we had 20-plus inches of rain in February and it was about the last time we really had any, we we're flooded
Sorry to see all the cleanup it's a mess you're so lucky you have the equipment to do it with lots of folks will have to depend on somebody else
Last year here in Middle Tennessee we had 88 inches of rainI'm actually a reporting weather station at my house
Glad to see all you guys OK. I was worried on how this stuff was going to hit you. Have a day and stay dry.
Yep, what a mess, but I can see where you'll have it cleaned up in no time. Good luck and stay safe.
