(3) understanding that you guys were profoundly moved by the majesty of that camp (4) the Cooking segment - brilliant! Great storytelling once again. Do you have to pack out the ashes or do you bury them in sand? Are you guys digging holes to poop in? Are you packing out your paper? Just curious. Your country is most beautiful!
Great Episode. It got down to 'feels like minus 8' where we were there July 2021. Needed to keep the water drums in the canopy so we could make a cuppa in the morning.
Oh nooooooooo. We live here. Do you see how bad those bumps are? They never used to be there. Too many people gunning it up those sand dunes. Far out, goodbye beautiful big desert 😭
Milmed is soooo bad!! I hate having to drive it to check cameras. Massive bog hole right at the start. As in over a meter deep! One of the buggies got bogged in it a month or so ago "practising" for the enduro. Worst thing to come to town, but businesses don't care cuz it's their cash cow!
My son drove all those tracks on the big dune...so what you need is bead locked 37s at 8psi, twin locked plus 300 plus kw engine and a bad ass driver...or a trail bike which did them all easily...great place to play in the sand!
Just a little tip for bush gravy- whack it back on the coals and cook off the flour, only needs about five minutes, it’ll get rid of that weird taste and it’ll be piping hot to heat your food back up again!
The track (Purra track) around the north west side of Lake Albacutya from Milmed rock track intersection is very cool. The vegetation and sand, in parts, is quite different from elsewhere in the park. Was there two weeks ago. The facilities at the start of Chinamens Well track (on Nhill-Murrayville rd) are fantastic. Not the view you enjoyed but top notch. Little Desert and Murray Sunset area also worth checking out too. Lotsa respect for the early pioneers who made a life in these places. And the indigenous people who lived there for 10's of thousands of years. Spend some $ in the towns up there. The Victoria Hotel in Dimboola is a great place for a meal.
Great content again guys! Don’t be afraid to really let the pressures down in sand, 10 - 12 psi is still a pressure that can confidently be driven on without running tires off the beads and will make sand driving ( mainly dunes ) much more pleasure able !
Thanks mate!! Means alot! Yeah i reckon it would of helped alot! i was just a little worried about the weight of the car on the tyres as the tyres i run aren't a 3 ply sidewalls, so they bag out pretty well at higher PSI, but i think as you said we could of got away with a bit lower PSI, Cheers :)

little tip for thickening gravy, mix your flour with some butter or marg first (known as a beurre manie) making like a little dough ball with it then add it to your sauce it will thicken your sauce and add a little richness to it without leaving clumps of flour all through it. or use some cornflour mixed with water for something a little simpler.
Thanks Jake, I've never heard of the butter ball trick, handy to know. I usually use corn flour though, with the cold water, but also a drizzle of red wine for a truly flavoursome treat. Aside from that Liam, you also need to return the floured mixture back to the heat to allow the flour to absorb the liquid and thicken up under heat. Tastes so much better once you do that. Try it next time. Enjoy.

Great quality content. Haven't been there in years but watching this makes me want to go back again. Liam, judging by the way your vehicle starts in the morning, the injectors are possibly leaking fuel into the cylinders and due for a service.

Great to watch young fellas getting out amongst it in the great outdoors , camping and having a cook up - good fun that I did in the 70’s boys! Great vid and photography without the sponsorship and bull shit budgets of some other channels! Good on ya!
Was there on the June long weekend along with around 200 other 4x4s...so maybe it is quite well known! Plenty of good dunes and tracks to enjoy tho....but...I hated the border track ...you'll find out why ..😼
I love the content too guys, just like everybody else here. I have been to some of these locations but couldnt drive across the lake as it was a little damp at the time. My basic old Prado loves a dune climb she has taught me a lot and forgives my noobishness.
I'd like to ask a question but feel free to delete it, I don't want to cause a fight... I was told/taught to put the sandflag on the right hand side (drivers side) of the car as in Australia we keep to the left. This means that if/when a car comes up from the other side of the dune they know that if they keep left of your flag they will miss your vehicle. Obviously this would require room but regardless it makes sense to me and if everybody is using momentum to climb a dune they might not have time to stop. What do others think? Do clubs encourage this line of thought?
My mate and I did the milmed rock track in the middle of January and we got beaten up big time! we did the whole track in the day and took use about 6 hours to cross
So Liam how many camels did you see out there ? 😂😂😂 Boys I love your videos. They are real and honest and it looks like you enjoy doing it. I’ll keep watching if you keep making them 👍🏻
Don't be afraid to go lower, love your shows! You do a great job, keep it up but drop your pressures on sand and drop your speeds and you'll be safer and use less fuel. This is a great channel. th-cam.com/video/5oKMD8iuAJY/w-d-xo.html
Do you guys think this track and area would be a good shakedown for a rig In preparation for a fraiser trip? I have done a bit of 4wding but never really come across much sand mainly steep rocky areas and mud and I understand the basics of sand driving but just makes me a little nervous to hit fraiser as my first real test.
Can I offer you some advice? When you’re talking to the camera, try not to turn around. Unless you’re running a lapel mic, the audio is quickly lost. You’ll find after some practice, that you don’t need to turn around and you can often just point if needed. Turning around is something that you tend to do when a little nervous.
I ended up picking up that sticker from the box ..thanks boys

Thanks TJ!
Great video, awesome aerial shots.
Thanks Leon!
Hey lads would love to know what brand of bbq grill plate you have would love to get the same looks prefect
My mate and I did the milmed rock track in the middle of January and we got beaten up big time! we did the whole track in the day and took use about 6 hours to cross
I was waiting for this episode hahahah big ups 👑👑
Thanks mate!
Yoir videos have come so far boys they are more and more professional every time, especially your drone work, what kind of drone are u running
Love the touring style vids boys.
Thanks mate!
So Liam how many camels did you see out there ? 😂😂😂
Boys I love your videos. They are real and honest and it looks like you enjoy doing it. I’ll keep watching if you keep making them 👍🏻
Great video! Man you guys make driving in sand look hard! Lower your tyre pressures more and you can reduce your speed.
Don't be afraid to go lower, love your shows! You do a great job, keep it up but drop your pressures on sand and drop your speeds and you'll be safer and use less fuel. This is a great channel.

Up the malle!! love it boys
😂 Liam going to take a shit and spots some camel tracks lol what a legend. Love the vids boys 🤙🏼🍻🇦🇺
You guys would love bilbunya dunes and or Lancelin
Great video guys
On the big dunes tyres down to 12 psi or even 10 - would walk up
hey boys, great episode. did you see any goats out there?
Another good episode gents.👍
Thanks Hammer! 👌
Wow, great improvements in video.
awesome guys, keeping it real for us all , without all the sponsors.
Bloody awesome guys!!
Thanks Daniel!
Do you guys record your trips with a logger like Giai maps?? would love to follow some of your routes!
Unfortunately i didn't but I'll try map out the route we took and get it uploaded!
Two things. How longs that right rear 'mark' been there?
And what if any paper or mapping systems did you use?
I thought the same thing. I don't remember seeing that right rear mark in previous videos.
You mean the dint on the 80 series? Been there since I bought it
And I use Gaia gps, OSM, google maps, avenza maps and I've got hema paper maps!
