Best vid on this matter for this engine on TH-cam thanks man way different then 225
It's really not that much different than a 225 ivory-billed numerous big bears Warriors Dr 225dx 225 Moto 4 225 they're all the same
Great video! I've got one making lower end noise - sounds like the auto clutch banging at low rpm. Will be tearing into it soon and this video certainly helps with the oil drain & fill procedure.
Good video, in all cases I've come across the correct way to check the oil is to dip, not screw it in, why it's called a dipstick!
I agree with you on how to check the oil any small engine mechanic will tell you to check it that way
Great video just bought one of these bikes and fixing to go threw it. So this is very helpful any other videos you have or help would be great. I plan on doing both cv axles on front wheel bearings all A arm bushings and tie rod joints as well. And oil change
Do you have a video that shows you taking the oil cooler lines off of the oil filter cover?
I just changed my oil was I supposed to drain my transfer case?. cause I didn't if I do drain my transfer case do I refill the transfer case or just the engine?
Thank you for your help!! BIGTIME
Thank you so much!

ATV oil vs automotive oil is there a difference? Also with the Differential fluid is there a difference between ATV and automotive 80/90 weight?
On the lefthand side there is a flat head fill cap, is that just a secondary for engine oil fill other then the dipstick or is it gear oil for the clutch?
Does the transfer case have to be drained when doing the oil change ?
Is there no transmission fluid on these? Its sinply 1 oil type for entire atv? Have a 91 and been trying to figure out the fluids for it.
Hi Guys, Great video., I am a new owner of Yamaha Big Bear 350 year 1989. It has the same engine as in ur video. WOuld you please be able to give me specs for oils in the engine, transfer case, gearbox along with the diff please. The front diff shows TCD (Torque control diff) , is it similar to Limited Slip diff in 4x4 wagons. I believe the oil in front diff will be different to the rear one then?? Please share a link to where I could find a free copy of Workshop manual. Regards Sam
so the part u drained wher 10mm bolt is bye drive shafts takes 10w40 too then
I just bought one of these I'm leaking oil bad from somewhere Its filling the bottom pan by where the front driveshaft comes out I haven't had a chance to look yet is it known to leak from a certain place so I know where to look? The rear driveshaft boots is torn could it come from there?
Front output shaft seal
Hi I looked everywhere where but I couldn’t find a 100% answer what kind of oil should I put in for the front and back gear case? I even have the Manuel for the bike but it’s very hard to understand
Would that be just for the diff or the diff and the final drive case Or does it matter?
Thanks!
You gotta do this just to change the oil fuck no man I'm dunb
I hear ya. They could have done us a favor and made it a little easier huh? Thanks for watching. Have you subscribed?
