A defective oil pump can can Destroy the whole Engine.Oil pump circulates the lubricating oil in each and every component of engine at correct pressure. A defective or weak oil pump can also lead to overheating of engine.In this video,I explained that how you can check your Motorcycle/Scooter oil pump in best possible way.

Sir my wave 125 have a problem on valve clearance we changed the oil pump then still the oil was not come up on the valve clearance thats why the valve it was dried and no oil running on it.what is your advice for this?tha ks

Lekin top gear pe maximum 60kmph bhagtha hain...uske baadh accilerator diya tho race hotha hain...lekin speed nahi letha hain...aur gumaya tho bahuth race hotha hain...jatha nahi...max heavy throatle race par 65kmph jatha hain......ye kyun...lekin engine sound tho 80,90,kmph speed ka sound letha hain(above 60 par)...

Dear,
I had recently restored my 14 yr old bike TVS victor Glx 125 cc for a cost of 3900/-
after 2 years of standing it ran for 7 months ( though engine was at half power )
now due to heavy rains at mumbai , the acceelrator wire broke , and the choke wire is stuck / frozen not moving at all
plus some water has gone into the carburretor from the fuel tank which i cleaned myself ..and its not even starting ( without accelrator wire i cant start now )
what will be the approx cost of replacing choke wire and accelerator wire
is it worth spending on such an old bike ?
esp when the engine performance is just at 50% and gets heated after 4-5 kilometers .

Cables are of Nominal cost and can be replaced for under Rs 500 .
Any old bike if properly restored can be made completely back to new(Both look and performance).
But It becomes difficulty (but not impossible) to get parts of old Discontinued bikes/scooters/cars.
Now coming to your main question.
Is it worth spending on this Bike??
Big Yes - if you are emotionally attached to this Bike. You have sweet memories attached to this Bike. Your college life,student life, friends and many more. Sometimes machines becomes the member of our life and family.
Big No- If it is just an ordinary Bike for you.
My brother bought a new Xpluse 200T (7000 KM & 4th Service Done). When the bike start in the morning, there is a noise from the engine area. Engine sound seems to be normal.
Any idea about the noise, what can we do to clear it? Is it normal?
After we run the bike for around 1 KM then there is no noise...please let me know your valuable suggestion on this..

He said 20 W 40 in both vehicle
But i said him that YAMAHA recomends 20 w 40 for ybr n 10w40 for fascino then
He said that but both engines are same so we can put same oil
IS IT CORRECT OR WE SHOULD GO AS PER RECCOMENDED OIL GRADE
Always stick to the recommended oil grade by the company in the owners manual.company had designed your engine and hence they know the best . 20w-40 is the most popular oil grade available in market so they use it in all scooters,motorcycles and even in cars. Further it is a matter of research but to be in safest side always follow the recommendations.

For effective braking you should use both brakes.
Further if you are not using front brakes frequently then the brake shoes will last longer. But in any case Don't neglect your brakes. Must replace it and keep it ready for any situation. Brakes are must for safety.

1. Agar starter relay kharab hai tho ek baar bhi scooter self start hoga ya nahi
2. Agar self start motor ka wire loose hai tho ek baar bhi scooter self start hoga ya nahi
3. Agar rectifier kharab hai tho ek baar bhi scooter self start hoga ya nahi
4. Agar Cdi ka chip kharab hai tho ek baar bhi scooter self start hoga ya nahi
5. Agar spark plug kharab hai tho ek baar bhi scooter self start hoga ya nahi
6. Agar battery weak hai tho ek baar bhi scooter self start hoga ya nahi

Why you want to unnecessarily install a system which your Bike actually don't need. Air cooling system (Fins) on shine is more than enough to cool the engine to the required operating temperature. Honda shine have one of the Most successful engine. Don't spoil it.
Do you know that engine cooling systems are designed in such a way that the engine reaches its operating temperature as soon as possible?
If you try to add oil cooler then it will take more time to reach its operating temperature which will harm the engine in the long run. Don't mess up a perfectly running engine.

Yes,every vehicle is designed with particular oil pressure. This oil pressures range plays very important role in Oil film lubrication. A slight deviation from this oil pressure range leads to metal to metal contact and hence engine wear starts. We will cover these vital points in future. Most of the viewers are not interested in details so I am not covering these points.

Today i went to yamaha authorized service centre for purchasing YAMALUBE OIL for my YBR 20w40 as per recommendation
But he said 20w40 is outdated and it is discontinued
So he gave me 10w40 (of fz n fazer) bike
So what should i do next time , purchase YAMALUBE 10w40 or
Other brand 20w40
You can go for 10w-40
But is there not huge diff betn 10w40 n 20w40
