My mom and you are practically the same age so she grew up with "A Christmas Story" and have watched it ever years with her kids and now her grandkids. This movie is Very Special to all who want to feel a real Hometown feeling Holiday movie. No special effects or CGI, just realness. Your character, Ralphie, is a tradition in my family that will go on. Thank you!
I watch this movie about halfway through the year, too. Not just at Christmas. It's one of those films that you notice something new everytime you watch it. There are so many great scenes, but the one I like the most is when the Old Man spots one more gift in the corner of the room and asks Ralphie to go see what it is. Gets me in the gut everytime.
I don't care how many times I've seen this movie over the last 40 years, I still laugh at it. Amazing. And I just saw the update "A Christmas Story Christmas" with all the kids all grown up. It was delightful.
I was worried about the integrity of the 2022 movie "A Christmas Story Christmas", but I'm very pleased to say that the new movie is delightful and very on brand with the Christmas Story aesthetic. Well done, Peter and gang!!
A Christmas Story brings back memories of growing up in the '50's. It is closer to reality than you can imagine. No I didn't own a Beebe, no we didn't have a coal furnace. But it brought back memories. Thank you.
Since its release, A Christmas Story is an annual must see experience along with A Christmas Carol (George C. Scott), It's A Wonderful Life, and The Polar Express. My grandchildren love A Christmas Story! A stellar cast, script, directing, and cinematography. It's a perfect blend of nostalgia. Thank you Peter Billingsley for playing this character that I certainly relate to.
This movie is *STILL* in my top three favourite Christmas movies. I still watch it every year with my two adult children when they come home for Christmas. We still laugh and enjoy the movie immensely. I hope to one day go visit the house in Cleveland and take the tour. I have a leg lamp night light that I put out every Christmas. I need to buy a leg lamp like the size used in the movie, but they are *not* cheap! I should maybe ask Santa … 🤔
Thank you for a wonderful look behind the scenes of one of my favorite Christmas movies. Nice to have a clear concise view of how the movie was made instead of just going for the cheap laughs. Merry Christmas and may 2021 be your best year yet... But only a shadow of the ones to come!! 🎄
What a terrific video to find on this late Christmas evening! Thank you, Mr. Billingsley, for doing this. Also, Messy Marvin is a tragically underrated spokes-character.
I forgot what her name was but I met Peter Billingsley’s Niece. I haven’t seen her since 2010 or 2011 when I met her she was a Teacher’s Aide I wonder if she ever became a Teacher.
Some of us 50's Boomers are still here watching Christmas Story, remembering living our 50's Christmas Stories with our mothers telling us we can't have a BB Gun because "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out ". Thanks Peter.

Just revisited A Christmas Story again and you're very endearing as Ralphie. Thanks for the memories Peter Billingsley.
Peter has the most mesmerizing blue eyes. 💙
You were a perfect ralphie. Thanks for all the laughs. Merry Christmas Peter.

If only those Messy Marvin tv ads were broadcast on radio today.
so amazing to watch this interview
Thank u for everything
He said his mama hadnt ate in 15yrs.Lol
luved the play.
Awesome movie
Its one of my favorite CHRISTmas moves.
Likewise.
Peter is now big and old. He was a youngster when he did this movie.
Wow he changed. At least in Elf as the Lead Toy Maker with Will Ferrell he somewhat resembled his childhood self.

LOVED RALPHIE !!
This, like "AIRPLANE!", you can watch over and over, and it never gets old. Entertaining whether it's your 1st time or your 21st time.
Ralphie Parker is something else 😆😆
That's weird, some of the shots were filmed in Canada. I thought everything was filmed in Cleveland.
Fascinated by the fact that he turned out hot.
One of my favorite scenes is when the mother puts the soap in her own mouth and starts to gag.
yeah... chewing Tabacco .. er swallowing just a little of it.. and a little body might feel Like they have had 10 coffees...thanks for the upload.
I love you
I see the black man was the first and last one to go in the scene lol.
Last name same as actress, Barbra Billingsley..from Lassie.
Don’t you mean, “LEAVE IT TO BEAVER”?
Ralphie with his BB gun.
betting that he got hosed on royalties...judging by the background... they say he's worth 12M but that's not a lot for 39 years 0f replays
Or he is just a simple guy that likes to live simply without the modern fancy hype
