oy vey... Agreed on the snare. Everything else is so nicely balanced, and the engineers couldn't hear that and fix it? Just dialing back the reverb would have been a simple improvement.
I don't know what to think...? It's so evident that the snares vol it's too high. Engineer was sleeping during the mixing!? So bothersome that...go away the wish to listen the song. Absurd. Can be a BOOTLEG, therefore I can accept this defect. But if was or is an official recording, is not permissible! As you stressed: "all sounds good, but not the snare?" Very strange, very absurd.
Hi, this is a soundboard recording, that means, everything, that goes into the mixing desk (front of house) is recorded here, and probably unedited! That´s with no effects and the mixing may not fit with the actual live sound. It´s a complicated topic. It also has something to do with frequencies!
