#p40 #warbird #rc
This warbird series is amazing eachine has stepped up there game to be the best in the mini plane series with these beautiful warbirds can't wait to see how much more scale they get later on
What is better the eachine lineup or the arrows pioneer?
@@hadyalbagu8615 eachine hands down I think if you already have a little experience with a RC plane but the arrows pioneer is the equivalent to the sport mini cub s2 they are both great beginner planes for first time flying very light weight brushed motors and slow with safe and all that as well with beginner and expert modes. Sport mini cub s comes with a wire that you ig right into a fpv camera if you wanna do that as well you just cut the little hole in the sticker on the top it's a pre cut hole in the foam cut the sticker open pull the wire out plug it in mount your tiny fpv camera on top and ready to go that easy. I would go with the cub mini sport s2 it's by a reputable brand and all spare parts you can think of and it's cheap and spectrum based so any spectrum radio you buy later in if you get the ready to fly one you can bind it to your better more hobby level spectrum transmitter. I would go with the mini cub s sport 2 or the arrows as my first mini plane or plane ever but if you can afford it get the horizon hobby apprentice plane get the biggest apprentice if you can afford it bigger trainers like that are easier to fly believe it or not then a small brushed low power trainer. The apprentice is brushless power and has GPS fencing and all kinds of stuff on it for beginners literally teach your self how to fly rc with it. I got my apprentice 5 years ago it doesn't have fencing on it but has the safe beginner and expert modes and as3x I flew that plane every weekend just about for a good year and only had one mishap and that was because I lost it in the sun got it back under control and the tip stalled it about 4 feet off the ground didn't tear it up at all it has 176 flights on it and one little tiny mark from transporting it very easy to fly if you let the plane do what it's supposed to do and trust the safe modes and panic button and the as3x system and all three trainers take off on their own in beginner mode you just give it half throttle and it will take off by them self and land ny them self let off the throttle and they will slowly come down and land as long as you got enough air speed on the wings to keep them flying
Once I was able to fly my apprentice with out any as3x or anything by putting in a standard spectrum recirver where it's all me no stabilization or anything just like it be like if you was flying say the fms sky trainer V2 is a amazing second plane no as3x nothing it's just you controlling it and it flies amazingly and very scale get the PNP VERSION the ready to fly version is expensive and the radio it comes with is junk not much settings on it for mixing or anything just switches for the trim settings goes from 0 to 10 for every trim on a slider switch it's garbage and you will crash it with that radio it comes with I got the ready to fly one because it was only one they had at my local hobby shop last one and it was 50 percent off. It was my second plane and my first flight was flawless thanks to the apprentice plane that taught me to fly properly
Thanks for your video. Love these little war-birds. Great job camera crew. It's not easy filming these little guys. Nice job.
Awesome I like the style of the Eachine P40 this is an Awesome plane for beginners learning how to fly and it’s so fun to fly and do tricks.
You two do an * awesome job!
Great info & entertaining.... Thanks for taking me a flyin'! :)
Our pleasure! Thank you!!!
Great review!!! I keep my T28 in my car at all times just incase I come across a little park and 10 free minutes.... downside is now my local HobbyTown can't keep them in stock because everyone asks where I got it! Hey Eachine... come up with a B-17 version and take ALL my money!!
Your grass looks so good mowed. Great job. Oh yeah nice plane. Good tip about RF interference in the city.
I want one so bad, this company is amazing..
They are a blast!

Very cool, thank you guys. Leaving for northern Michigan for 10 days, see ya when I get back.
Lovely plane, really looks nice. Thanks for the nose weight tip, I have found the same with it climbing in expert mode. I'm loving the motor and servo access panels underneath now on these. These models tend to improve with each new release. Me109 and Zero due soon. Great channel.
A very good Thursday evening to you all in the USA from Wellington Somerset in the UK
The added nose weight issue would also explain my BF-109 tip-stall issues, there is no gliding that one. I picked up the P-40 at my local hobby shop ("Rage RC" branding on the Eachine), it was a bit more expensive, but very cool to buy it from the brick and mortar shop. I flew the P-40 yesterday, I definitely need to add a few pennies/weight on that nose, it didn't want to glide at all, makes landing a speedy proposition, it flies good otherwise. I feel that the P-51 flies better, this P-40 looks fantastic though. Thank you for doing these awesome videos.
The prop keeps popping of!!! 4th flight
;)
Brian, you are having waaaay too much fun with this one !!! 🙂
AVG...super history of the P-40. It flies very good as you showed with weight added, I used BB shot (fishing style). Works great. The rubber soft tire is a great addition for sure. AND NOW..will they come out with the "ZERO"?
ZERO is the one I'd also love to see them make.
For your enhancement program, glad to see you put your three cents in. Penny for your thoughts.
I've only flown someone else's P40 but my P51 and T28 both fly controllably in expert mode if full down trim is applied before going into expert mode.
Have you ever noticed that elevator trim doesn't do much in Novice and Intermediate mode? I think the gyro just cancels that trim out, maintaing the attitude the gyro thinks is right.
I think my P51 and T28 both had pushrods that were too long (up trim), but the gyro hid that, making in fly level notwithstanding.
But as soon as they go into expert mode, the model goes crazy because the elevator trim is actually hugely wrong.
As mentioned above, I can fly both the P51 abd T28 in expert mode IF I apply full down trim first. A much better flyer than me discovered this. But I was able to utilise his discovery.
If I take off with full down trim (with gyro), it doesnt climb away; it's not beginner friendly. I have to jump on the elevator to stop it descending into the ground at a shallow angle.
So I think they are delivered with up trim, to give a beginner friendly "climb out" - with the consequence that they climb crazily in expert mode.
BTW I agree that the T28 is the best of the Eachine warbirds that I have flown. The P40 was prone to tip stall in situations where the P51 and T28 would not have.
Flash deal 2 extra props and two batteries, with transmitter, 87.98
NICE!!! Good luck, and glad to hear it's the P-40 and not the P-47 500mm - so much better!
Fantastic job Camera Crew! Great info and always entertaining. Going to have to grab one of these, Eachine rocks! Wish they did a brushless version
The Eachine P-51 was my first plane in a while, the thing died on me (motor) not too long ago and now I have a XK-40 which sucks (because its to heavy) compared to the Eachine P-40. I'm not sure if I will get these types of planes again but if I do the P-40 will be the one I get. Thanks for the review.
Regarding the sequence of starting transmitter before plane and vice versa at about the 42 min mark: I don't have this specific plane but do have this controller for my RTF - If I start the transmitter second, and I am not seeing the control surfaces level, I will cycle through the Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced modes once and that will do the trick.
Some of the small RTF's are backward...I know, it's annoying, but just start whatever direction makes it work. Then you have to move the throttle stick UP 100% and DOWN 100% to "Arm" the ESC.
These micro RTF's also use the lack of Tx to know when we're trying to BIND them...thus some of the differences in behavior.
Love the little warbirds 🔥👍✌️
3 pennies should be about 7.5 grams, a similar battery is 6.5 grams, maybe the battery box could be modified for a bigger battery?
Looks like a fun little plane I want one now.
WOW looks to me like you have a gorgeous home. Must be so peaceful living there.
In regards to the plane. Do you know if the wing can come off so the receiver can be replaced with something else?
Thank you.
Thanks CybaGirl - it is wonderful here, and we do love it, but it's also super expensive.
As for the wing removing...you can basically always get a wing off, but you might not want to cut and glue it back...so for the sake of answering your question, it's not easy to remove, but you can technically remove the wing. Just have some glue handy to put it back on, when you're done, OR I believe the control board / battery area comes out, if you want to get in there. This might accomplish your goals.
@@BrianPhillipsRC hello and thank you so very much for taking the time to get back to me, much appreciated.
Yes I have been thinking about putting the wing back on and perhaps I can make something that I can use a screw instead of gluing it back on.
I cant seem to find an online manual for this plane and mine is still in the mail. So when you mention access to the control board / battery area comes out. I don't suppose you have a photo I could see and does it come out easily?
Thank you so much once again.
Ordering one of these!
And GORGEOUS house man!
Thanks! If you like the house, you can check out our playlist from when we built it. I know, kinda off-topic, but it was a big accomplishment in our lives and we are willing to share about it, if you're curious.
@@BrianPhillipsRC I’m sure it was! Real estate is always on topic for me haha. I Broker an office in Alabama. We have a custom builder that has a similar style. That’s almost the exact color siding I’m wanting to redo our current home in. I’ll definitely look back in the playlist!
Brian "CRASH, CRASH, CRASH" Phillips
Can you show how to remove and replace the prop saver shaft adaptor
Such a cool little plane. I only wish the Eachine/Volantex would release it as a 750mm like their P51 that I have and that you reviewed as well! If you have any pull with the company can you recommend it! I'll be in on a pre buy! lol haha
Love the landing gear on this one! I hope they put this kind of nice large soft tires on their next series of f22 raptors. My one gripe about my eachine f22 was that my landing gear broke and lost a tire on the first crash.
My landing gear broke off first crash. Came unglued to plane
Thank you for teaching I just received mine
Que buenos son tus vídeos,Brian.Saludos desde España 🇪🇦
Question my friend how would it fly with the landing gear removed and keeping the pennies in and the three bladed prop..that was something you didn't try in the review. And was waiting to see if you were going to try that...and if no pennies..they can use washers..but EACHINE is getting better and better especially with the good landing gear wheels..😊👍👍👍👍👍
That's a sweet beginners plan looks like u can't break it
I just got my first 4 channel plane recently and i lost it on my first flight because it went so high and I couldnt get it back. It was the arrows pioneer and I did the mistake of keeping in stabilized mode. I was upset and I couldn’t find a plane better than the pioneer so i just ordered another one. Im a noob so i would appreciate some tips and how to avoid mistakes when flying.
Hello, super channel, very useful information. Regards👍👍👍
I also reckon adding nose weight will help it penetrate the wind? Anyway gonna try that on my P51-D which I am scared to fly unless total calm have flown and it went away luckily it landed behind some houses in the road and undamaged.
Question 4. Has EACHINE come out with the P-51 MUSTANG YET...???
The P51 was one of their first planes; its been out for years. Personally I've been flying it for a few months now...
Emmett - yes, it was one of the first... see the list below ;)

Great video and review as usual 😂
Thanks a lot for this review, I have this plane and was wondering if its tail heavy but didnt have the convidence adding weight as I'm a total beginner
Mine was, but not 100% sure you're is ;) Give it a shot, and you can see for yourself!
I think you can just use larger battery instead of three coins
if it's that much more weight, you'll need about 1000mah ;) since the lipo is so far back. The beauty of adding coins, is that you can get them WAAY up front...thus adding less weight than might otherwise be necessary for making up weight on the battery, BUT I'm a firm believe in no-dead-weight in a plane...but in this case, I have to tolerate some dead weight, since the lipo would need to be HUGE to make up that much CG.
Hey bro do you think it be easy to swap the sticks for mode 1 is it duable? only juz it comes in mode 2 :/
Great video
Thanks for the awesome videos. Which one of these Eachine War planes would you recommend for someone who has never flown an RC plane? Or would you recommend another plane?
Thanks for the rewiew😁 thinking of he purchase
I know you don't really do 3D, but would a build and review if an Addiction X be completely out of your scope?
FYI all...P40 needs 3 pennies inside motor access hatch and Spitfire needs 2 pennies. This is for those using TX16S in full control mode.
Question 3 my friend can you give us battery size VS flying time or ampege VS flying time..???
What would be the next plane after this for a beginner??
Just subscribed , love the Eachine war birds, wish they would make them the next size up! There lots of fun. I did lose my corsair with that dumb ass return button! Thanks for the 3 cent tip! Ever do any thermal gliders?
Question..how do we let EACHINE how mush we love there war birds and the extras stuff that comes with their war birds especially the great new landing gear wheels..???
They have a store page on aliexpress
Flies not to bad for a little plane.
How long is the life of the brush motor?
100% depends on how much you fly them. I would say maybe 100 flights or so???
Grazie per la risposta
Great video!! What do you recomend this plain or the xk's A430?
Are they expected to be stocked un the USA?
Brian "Maverick" Phillips...
Can the S44 mini charger be used at the field, connected to a 12 volt battery?
S44 4X 1S Charger bit.ly/32tpGx3
The Trojan doesn't do any better in expert mode IMO. I found the corsair flies pretty good in expert though.
They all need basic adjustment of the bendable pushrods, to get them flying straight in expert mode! When they are trimmed correctly, they fly perfect in expert mode. No extra weight needed. Out of the box, all of my eachine minis had a tendency to climb in expert mode. The beginner and intermediate mode compensate the wrong trim. That is why most people say, that the little planes are hard to control in expert mode.
What is the range of this plane
I like to tell people it's about the size of a football field, but I don't have any other reason, other than I've vetted so many of them at or beyond that point.
New day New Airplane, its, militar Airplane so super great🔝😉😉😉😉
He's the chris pratt of the planes
Ya know?, ... Everybody has their 2cents worth... Brian, of course.. has 3! .. smh lmao
Thanks B!
Mustang p40 the eroes of second mondial War🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
太好了
Where can I get the 3 blade prop for this model?
Mine came with 2 x 3 bladed props, one on the plane, one in a bag, and 2 x 2 bladed props in another bag. Flys better with the 2 bladed prop imho, I fly mine on a Jumper T12 Pro instead of the supplied Tx.
Just to add my 2 cents... It'd fly better with a nickel in the nose. 😊
Put ur two cents in it...or 3😅
Wow durible plane she takes a licking and keeps on ticking lol
.
your so funny Bro
Dude I'm fixing to blow my free paycheck I got each month that I can put in savings or blow it cause it doesn't have to go to bills food or gas so I'm gonna buy every single war bird eachine has out now or the new V2 1.2m warbirds from eflite
