    The main spec is the dual air suspension providing comfort driving (up and down and side to side) , full 4 seat massage and etc. full 800V and tested to 1200V maximum voltage. I think this will sell very well overseas.

      I am just stating what is on offer, if you are claiming BYD is a fraudulent and scamming company. Then you have to prove it. The fact is that they make their own air suspension. Replacing a faulty suspension is very low cost just like their battery. I understand there is terms and condition. If one is to run the car like a commercial car racking up 500k in a year, this is not reasonable also.@@n0xzy1337

    The qilin battery from CATL is also capable of that. I have seeing a video of a car using that battery, going from 10% to 80% in 10 minutes using a charger of this level of power.
    Good to see that more manufacturers reach the same level.

      My questions are; how many chargers, in the real world, are capable of charging at this power level. It’s an amazing amount of grid power to soak up. The battery will heat up with this sort of charging. How many times can it be given that kind of treatment without damage? To be fair, I’d think that if the battery can absorb that much energy in ten minutes without exploding, it’ll probably last a very long time in the real world charged more gently. I doubt we can expect a convenient 10 minute charge at the local charging station anytime.

      I don't know about the number of chargers at that level, but new Tesla Superchargers V4 can do it. "Old" V3 can do up to 250 KW if I remember right.
      And the pressure on the network is similar on average, as fast superchargers do charge fast, so the number is not that high as slow charge. The charge is distributed through a probabilistic curve. As they can charge almost as fast as ICE I don't expect too much charging ports of this capacity that current gasoline station. Low charging ports will be a lot more numerous but a lot cheaper too.

    BYD also got rid of the ugly front LED. They actually redesigned the entire front end.... now it looks good! (Video shows the older version) Also they have will release their new AI driving mode with this car, Aparently its elite as well.

    I saw another video on this car. They said that in order to get the 360kw charging, you had to charge both sides at the same time. That each side will do 180kw, so combined if you charge both at the same time, you get the 360kw. Not 360kw on each side. Not sure which is true.

    Probably the charge controller power rating has been the limit for charging. So they solved it by adding two into it. Otherwise N7 is almost the same as BYD Seal U Design 87kW which is available outside of China.

      Model s&x updated in mid-late 2021, best selling evs in their segments. Model 3 refreshed in late 2023, just now ramping up globally.
      Semi introduced in late 2022, slow ramp. Ct introduced in Nov of 2023, ramping up to 1,000+units a week now.
      Mildly refreshed model Y in late 2023 for the China market, major Y refresh coming later this year for mass production in early 2025.
      Seems they do follow about the same 3-6 year cycle of refreshes as every other established automaker. 👍🏻😎

      It doesn't work that way. The speed depends on the minimum between C factor of the battery at the charge level on the moment and the power of the charger.
      It doesn't depend about the size of the battery, but the percentage of charge of the type of battery.
      A charging a 60 kwh from 10% to 80% takes the same time than a 120 kwh from 10% to 80%, assuming that the charger doesn't reach its limit.
      That's the reason we need better technology to raise the C factor. Still, 5C now reached is already impressive if you don't charge the last 20% (the slowest part). It's not as good as fuel cars, but probably similar refueling speed than current hydrogen cars.

    Sam you need more data to compare these things that would be good if you would create tables are columns at least comparing this to the competing Tesla models. Not simply charging speed and claimed range but performance and better yet actual testing. And dual charging looks like a gimmick. Plus those horsepower numbers don't remotely line up with its quoted acceleration unless it were to weigh 6,000 lb. More critical and analytical treatment of these specifications would help your Channel not simply regurgitating byd's advertising

    If you choice is between a BYD and a Tesla - buy the Tesla. BYD quality is horrific. If you search BYD quality; one report would be from You Viking about rust in paint of brand new BYDs? Who puts out such junk? That is just the tip of the iceburg - Packet cells that leak and catch fire, Airbags that do not deploy in real accidents, entire wheel assemblies that fall off, Steel in an Offroad SUV that bends like taffy, cheap bearings that fail in a year or two, poor welds etc. This is suppose to be China's premier brand. They are in such a rush to put out vehicles they cut corners and use shoddy parts with obviously no QA program. No decent maker does this.

      I did see one comment on a previous video from a vehicle technician who was doing EV training. The comment said BYD were using pop rivets to put things together rather than bolts or clips, which makes repair difficult. In this world, you tend to get what you pay for, and even given Chinese cheap labour and material, it’s hard to see how they can make a cheap, attractive EV that lasts for more than a few months in the real world. Totally not environmentally sustainable to make EVs that are basically scrap after lasting a fraction of the time of traditional ICE vehicles.

      In the city of Shenzhen China, their public transport had gone 100% electric since 2017. Most of their ev taxis are the Byd E6 models. Most of them have been running almost non stop for past 7 years. Clocking up hundreds of thousands of km in mileage, without having to change their original battery.

      @@kamsunleong6648 "an e6 electric taxi saves 14,120 litres of fuel per year, with 32 tonnes fewer CO2 emissions" Wikipedia has a detailed summary of this low production and very costly BYD; no longer made. While it is possible that it was much better than later BYDs and put out with a lot better attention to quality; it is also obvious that a lot of what BYD says about it isnt' honest - as the quoated note proves. If you actually consider that power in China is 60% coal 3% gas, and there is a 15% loss of power in transmission. Curb weight 4500 lbs; so it takes a 25% more energy to move it; it didn't save any CO2 or fuel; and overall cost more CO2 because mining to produce a EV is 8-10x higher than a ICE/Hybrid. The Wiki does suggest this model was durable but it also cost $50,000 each. It stopped production years ago and predates there massive production increase which appears to have very little reguard to quality. When your source of information is BYD itself; you really have no information that is legitimate.
