south industries never looked upto Bollywood, it is bollywood which follow what is trending in South or Hollywood and they tried to follow them or remake them. Lots of commerical action movies of Bollywood are remaks of Tamil and Telugu movies and lots of comedy movies are remakes of Malayalam movies. I'm pointing out just a small part only, there are many topmost film makers like sujit sirckar, amir kahn, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Sriram Raghavan, Zoya Akhtar and anurag kashyap etc who does good films.
