- No one can eat that! I was told nobody can finish one of these giant sandwiches, let alone 6 totaling upwards of 10lb of food! We have beef burgers, cheeseburgers, pulled pork, fried chicken, bacon, eggs, dessert burgers and so much more in this Giant food challenge at AJ's Sandwiches In Yuba City CA! We had 30 minutes to eat this giant platter and get the $75(ish) meal for free, otherwise we would be paying the price plus the low California sales tax ;)... Can we defeat this massive burger challenge, or will this unbeaten burger challenge take us down Man Vs Food Style?

Those burgers and sandwiches looked a lot smaller on the tray. Then when you had them in your hands I saw just how huge they were! WOW!!! I love cheeseburgers with cole slaw and BBQ sauce. I also love chicken sandwiches. Great challenge Joel! And as always Thank you for taking us along with you!❤🍽💥

That bread is indeed Dutch, we call it Tiger bread (Tijgerbrood) because of the beautiful pattern. Is normally a bit rougher, more flakes falling off etc but still it looks quite similar!
Joel makes it look soooo easy......He has a enormous appetite and really enjoys his food........Enjoy watching all his videos. and he is very respectful to the restaurant crew..........

it's kinda amazing how they've engineered the sandwiches so that very little stuff falls off them. I would've imagined it'd be a mess to eat those, but i'm not seeing stuff dropping that much really. Nice sandwich engineering !
We call that Tiger Bread in Australia and it's a huge hit in my house. Pineapple goes well with burgers and pizzas for sure. Those looked amazing. Totally envious right now:)

Joel That's a tray of HUGE sandwiches and I never had a doubt you would finish all of them !! I also like your choice of music for the video, it gave the whole video a real upbeat tempo, hope you use this same selection of music more as it somewhat reminds me of the soundtrack from "Escape from New York" one of my favorite movies.

I normally can't stand watching people eat, but for some reason I actually enjoy this lol you explain the food so well it's like I can taste it while you eat it. Great videos man keep it up.
You killed it as always because that was a ton of food for 30 minutes. Super interesting toppings throughout and that bread is new to me. We were in San Francisco in 2017 and we didn’t see that kind of bread. It was all about the sourdough. But it looks tasty. I’m glad they didn’t add fries.

I’m conflicted, I love cooking shows & watch all I can on all venues, but I think Joel did a good job highlighting some of their cooking techniques… I watch Joel’s channel for the eating challenge

Always amazed at how much Joel can eat. I can do usually 2 or 3 plates at thanksgiving or christmas dinner but I could only imagine how many plates he could demo on holiday meals. I don’t think there needs to be rules when it comes to creating tasty food. I am all for being creative and if pineapple is what you like - go for it! I’ve never had but will definitely give it a try. I’d go for a burger before a chicken sandwich.

AJs is the best!! I went to the first location when it opened !! I haven't had the pleasure of trying out the newer location. The original has closed. They make the best sandwiches!!!
