Imagine a sonic and the black Knight skin. And every time he makes contact with an enemy while boosting, he does a quick sword swing animation. Only when boosting through enemies though nothing too crazy on them. It would just be unique for that specific skin!

I kinda don’t like the method of having to use codes for your specific console and then wait on updates or company collaborations. Just go ahead and throw them in from the jump. Add more later on if they want

I'm glad SEGA has finally realized they can monopolize on fans' desire to port old 3D models into every Sonic game known to man. I'd pay good money for more skins from various niche Sonic games/media, like Black Knight Sonic, Westernized Classic Sonic, Santa Sonic, Riders Sonic, 2020 Olympics Sonic's various outfits, etc.

This game just keeps adding everything I’ve been asking for all it needs is a mephiles boss and sonic adventure 2 skins for sonic and shadow and this’ll be the perfect game
Also I have a cool but less likely to happen idea what if they add cell shaded skins that look like the sonic adventure and riders art for sonic and shadow and the box art styles and sonic cd intro for classic sonic

That Sonic Jam legacy skin looks so good man, they are 3 for 3 when it comes to skins for the characters. They really are making the right steps when it comes to Sonic X Shadow Generation, you can tell they really want to make this game a success and I really hope that it does become a massive success cause it really does look good, both the Shadow side and Base Gens.

I never got to play Generations (other than the 3DS version), so I’m extremely excited for this game, and there’s so much potential for even more skins!
Something I haven't seen mentioned is in a lot of places showing off the digital deluxe contents, they list "Terios Skin" and "Additional level and skin for Shadow" separately. Implying Terios isn't the additional skin. So maybe that's where we could see an SA2 model Shadow skin
(Or it could just be movie Shadow bc the skin and level release at the same time as Movie 3)
I absolutely love how the jam Sonic skin looks.
The things I would do for a Sonic Rush skin though, just the thought of that being a possibility gets it all over the walls
IDW content has been their biggest fumble for this "Year of Shadow". Main series went into a hiatus and we got a spin-off limited series to fill in the gaps. Classic Era and it's about Fang... In the Year of Shadow... the spin-off comic series is about Fang?... I get it bro, Superstars was pretty fresh but come tf on bro, it would literally have been the perfect time and everybody would have wanted it. IDW Fang the Hunter being insultingly boring and overall mid-to-bad didn't help either.
I would absolutely not call it mid-to-bad, it was solid. It just should not have run over 4 months while the main comic was on hiatus. Classic stories just don't hold the same weight as a main issue. But you're completely right, we should get a Shadow special this year, but so far we have no word on anything. Fingers crossed.
@@canon3723 I agree on Classic stories just not holding a candle to Modern by default but I disagree with the Fang take. What did you like about it? Personally I hated most things. The writing was bland, the storyline was a nothing burger, ALL cameos felt forced and Mandalorian-esque (I call The Mandalorian "The Cameo of the Week Show" so this isn't a compliment), everything cultivating to the Warp Topaz instead of the aggressively teased 8th Emerald from Sonic the Fighters felt like a meanspirited slap in the face. Both the comic itself and the mini series writer Ian Flynn highlighted how Fang having the Warp Topaz is a direct connection to Superstars but that's something that never pays off directly or indirectly in any way in the game itself, if we are super kind and go for a stretch explanation we could say it's what Fang used to stay ahead of the heroes in every zone.
To me, it was a boring, badly paced, blandly written, insultingly wasteful nothing burger of a mini series. It is by far the worst Sonic IDW release of all time, if anything it's the only Sonic IDW release I don't like.
Call me a JAM the way I'm in SATURN! This is the celebratory stuff I've wanted from the original Generations... Legacy skins, I'm glad they're doing it now and it's the cherry on top that this sonic cake missed!
The additional Shadow skin for holiday is definitely SA2 Shadow, but a movie Shadow is also possible. That or they can possibly do like they did for Sonic colors ultimate, where they gave Sonic his movie aura and boost but for Shadow.

So Paramount never put an official announcement out about Keanu as Shadow, so my theory why we haven’t seen the trailer yet is they saw the internet blow up about it and are rapidly trying to get Keanu to record some lines for them

Im hoping this game also adds more characters to the Character Bio Section, New concept art from newer games, Newer music for you to play in the levels, And maybe some new skills in the skill shop. Also i HOPE that once you beat Shadows main story. You get to play as him in the Sonic levels.
Oh also they have to make a level pack where you get to play 3 levels from Lost World, Forces, And Frontiers

I kinda hope the additional level for Shadow is a Sonic Forces level, maybe it transitions from Eggman’s Facility/Mystic Jungle to Enemy Territory/Sunset City and then finally Virtual Reality/Green Hill- okay scratch that last part, Eggman’s Facility and Enemy Territory would be enough
Also, the phrasing “additional level and skin for Shadow” could be referring to an additional level for either game and a Shadow skin, so Sonic getting another level based on Lost World, Mania, Forces, Frontiers, or Superstars is possible as well

I agree there definitely needs to be more Shadow stuff with this being the year of shadow. And definitely will be playing with the sonic jam skin since that looks cooler than Sonic Generations classic Sonic. (Santiago)

For those who are hype, that’s awesome and I don’t want to take away any excitement or anything from this news. However imo, the fact Sega/Sonic Team are still doing the sign up to our email before the skin is gone forever bs, leaves me worried about how much skins are they going to do for Sonic Gens. Colors Ulitmate, Superstars, and especially Froniters should have gotten all of Sonic’s past skins and more yet we either get recolor or just 4 skins. I hope Sonic Team finally pulls through with adding more past n new skins for Sonic n Shadow since this is Sonic/Shadow Generations and it would be their chance to celebrate all of their history by adding some cool n wild skins. They already are doing good with the Adventure, Terios, and now Sonic Jam skin, but hope they don’t stop and bring in unlockable cool skins for Sonic n Shadow. Plus while unnecessary, would be cool if Sonic Team gone the extra mile and give Sonic’s gang some skins too
