I would use can pineapples in the syrup, freezing and try it that way I haven't made it before but I am going to try. pineapples that's in its own syrup will probably be even better I'm going to try this and see what happens😊

First I whip up a small container of semi thawed cool whip with a quarter of vanilla pudding til it resembles cake whipped frosting. 1 cup of frozen pineapple chunks and put in food processor with a splash of pineapple juice and process till smooth, add a dollop of the prepared cool whip and process again til creamy.

Disney's recipe isn't actually Dole Whip. It's called "Pineapple Frozen Treat" on the Disneyland app. :)
The authentic original ingredients are frozen pineapple and coconut milk. Only those two.
