i wish I wood of kept all those great magazine photos in Motocross Action. I remember a shot of hannah jumping a double in NY that no one would dare to jump.
He was So in the day obnoxious that everyone HATED him!! A cocky, arrogant SOB he was... Ruthless and vile. But... He rode like the wind! He had talent in spades, and was the only guy in the world that could beat Marty Smith, who was at the time, Honda's #1 pinup idol. He talked trash yes, but he could really back it up! Amazing person IMHO He Made you respect him. He took your respect by force, and I can't think of many people that could pull that one🍻 off , if ever in history. In-yo'👊face! 🏁
@lowflyin55 In case you don't remember there was a picture of bob with a Pickett sign saying "who the hells Hannah" when he was in contract negotiations with Yamaha in 78 I believe. Also David Baileys girlfriend had a t shirt with the same saying on it at the cmc winter series opener at saddleback. A series that Hannah dominated so completely that he didn't even race the last two races. Sorry if I offended.
Hannah was very popular in south America motocross world, even if he don t know. And never been there, Ricky Jhonson was there at 16 he won 250 international , In Venezuelas, Bayly and De coster adn Lacky war ther to PEru Ecuador Venezuela,...
