This is a good example of a comedy skit making a political statement which I just so happen to disagree with but yet I still laughed and enjoyed it nonetheless! It's not that I disagree with what is being conveyed per se, I just think its more complex and requires more nuance than what they were able to provide in a skit. Amy is better when she isn't preaching at the top of her lungs! This was far more entertaining and effective way to communicate that message!

I thought it was done tastefully, and I actually don't see any inaccuracies in what they were conveying. There are countless loopholes in our system that allow guns to get into the wrong hands every day. Of course, it is more complicated, but I think it's spot on.

@@missmichelleluv How does the NRA butthole taste? Chewy? Kinda like burnt rubber? Gun sales have been stronger than ever because of the false rhetoric of the NRA and those beholden to the NRA. That joke did age well and is timeless because after EVERY mass shooting the cycle repeats: calls for sensible gun reform, pearl clutching and fear mongering from the NRA and republicans who get their campaign money from them, and a jump in gun sales because people think the government is coming for their guns. It would be a hilarious cycle if it wasnt for all the dead kids.
