What you have done for these animals is GREAT!!!! I used to get every animal out of a few small pounds in the areas where I worked. In the beginning, they were being sold for research, so it was a silent war going on between me and that guy who the city let take them. He was not happy, because I got them before he did. I did this for decades. I commend you for doing this. Animals rescued from pounds know, that you saved them, and they are SO grateful, SO happy, and SO loving. A person could not ask for a better animal for a pet than the ones who REALLY NEED US!!!!

I just got another reason to dislike Trump. Honestly, I doubt he will make it through his term without the country and rest of the world saying "could you shut up about your dumb business crap already and how you think of people?". RadioactiveJet Me too. Any kind of animal I can adopt, I will and I won't care what anyone says about adopting as many animals as I will. I want animals to be happy and not wondering around, not in shelters about to be put down, I want to make sure that they don't live a life without happiness

I don't understand why people are so selfish and so cruel at times. An animal's life is way more important than a stupid business that we don't even want or need. When a business is created, it thrives on money, once it gets successful enough, the business is going to grow, when it grows,it gets a bigger headquarters, and the land where that business goes is where a gorgeous green forests filled with life once was. STOP THE GREED TODAY. These amazing creatures live there. You have no right to take those luscious green forests away from the hundreds of thousands of animals who live there. That is like the government kicks you out of your house and gave you nowhere else to go just to make way for a supermarket or another buissness. That's not fair. We the people should have a say, and I say leave the animals alone and save the forests. Leave a like I'd you are with me. Save the world today. Have a heart. Save an animal. Same a life. Save a forest. #SAVETHEFORESTS
my baby was in for about the same time, no one was willing to take her or foster her because of her separation issues. they couldnt get a German shepherd rescue to take her. After loosing 4 dogs in hours of each other I went onto my local animal shelter and saw my girl for the first time. it took a week to find out that she was still available, the next day I walked up to her kennel and introduced myself to her and told her about her daddy that she'd help to make happy again. the next day she was payed for and checked in for a chip an spay. once she got home she sat practically on her daddy and gave him a bath. weve had her about a week now and she loves her new humans, but prefers her daddy. which is OK with me, he needs her attention more then I do. but when dad is asleep she comes an gets in bed with me to nap. Her name is Elvira and we hope to have her a good longtime. next month she will begin training as a service dog, shell Ace it I just know it. 😊 keep it up Lee your making a world of difference for the lost furbabys.

I love all of the animals in the world but if I see someone like that I would say there is steal faith in humanity and thank you for your kindness dogs give me happiness and to my family I grow up with dogs and I lost my pit to a cop a couple months age I miss him so much we had both his mom and dad we had to give his mom away his dad lives with my grandpa he was a blackish brindle with his paws looking like they were dipped in white.

super buddy you got a real family
So I have a funny story,
One day when my mom was taking my dog for a walk, she saw this guy who was really interested in our dog (she’s a whippet) and he said he had a dog too (Italian greyhound). So my mom never actually met this dog. But about 6 months after, when me and my mom are trying to get a stray cat to trust us and the same guy shows up and said “hey I know you” and my mom forgot her glasses at home so she said “do I know you?” 😂. Anyways, the guy invited us over into his house. And me not expecting much. But omg was I wrong immediately we are shot At with this enormous wave of dogs and seniors and puppies! This guy had 10 soon to be 11 dogs that came rushing out of his house the minute he came back home. It was possibly the best moment in my life. I mean who in the world would not want to be trampled by puppies?! So then we probably stayed at this guys house all day and I think I know all of them but I am really bad at memorizing names. So these guys are all rescues, asula: Italian greyhound, rein: Italian grey hound simi: rescued from bad breeders so she is a miniature husky, saphir: Italian greyhound, pinky: Chinese crested and the cutest little short legged chihuahua ziggy with his tongue sticking out. And that’s all I know. But I know that there are 3 more Italian greyhounds and a mut that looks like a fox.
If you #adoptdontshop you might just end up with the same cuteness overload that I experienced.
Oh and he has a really sweet cat who is a black cat and blind. He is so amazing. He roams around the house and back yard and he can jump up on objects without being scared.
He is a true inspiration.

Yeah 9 pets is quite a lot but oh my god bless him! He saved 9 animals one being a pitbull and he treats and loves them all equally. Yeah dogs can be turds and he does have to quite a bit of cleaning up but it is so WORTH IT!

My mom does the same thing as Lee Asher 😂😂😂 she got 6 dogs, 2 rabbits and 2 birds.
Animals will always be so much better off without humans. Saying that, Lee from the Asher house and those like him are amazing and precious people. Those and their animals must be protected at all costs.
I had twelve rescues then it went to nine and back up to 11 dogs. I had 12 rescue cats but Im down to 6 plus the strays that come in the living room to eat or sleep. They are getting fixed very soon. I prefer the ones over 10 that are blind. The last one from the Phoenix, AZ pound said 13 but hes about 4. Big difference I would say but is totally blind.
