    The Mk1A is what the Tejas should have been from day 1. Im so happy to see it!

    I hope to see Kaveri engine fly soon on a Tejas! Software defined radios are also going to be standard on Tejas Mark1A.HAL states that the LCA Tejas Mk-1A is equipped with a 'network warfare system'. This system includes essential components like software-defined radio (SDR) for communication, The only important bit of info is the Software Defined Radio. And now that is officially confirmed to be on Tejas Mark1A. Tejas is now able to fire missiles and drop bombs, and even jam radars. It is ready for war!

      I hope Tejas will not have kaveri because Kaveri is 48 kn dry thrust and 70 kn wet thrust Tejas already having 80kn F404 is still not sufficient if we add 70 kn engine with Tejas , Tejas performance will be not even able to meet jf17 , but if GTRE develops enhanced Kaveri engine with 85 kn jet engine we must integrate it with Tejas not just kaveri, kaveri engine is for FUFA,UCAV not for Tejas, Tejas should have Enhanced Kaveri

    • @datoolz0

      @@anilkumarrali303 No deficit of 10kn is not huge issue, a 14% improvement in thrust is achievable with enough funding.

    By integrating related components to reduce the number of parts, HAL could increase the manufacturing pace. Twenty-four units per year is too slow, especially in wartime.

      @rickgolder6818 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      In wartime, things can increase at much more pace. Yes, not with what imdia currently has, but in the future around 5-10 years, indian aircraft manufactureing infrastructure will increase many times. Given that many private sector companies both from indian and abroad, are investigating in this.

    Everybody is saying Tejas took 30 years.
    We have to make screws to every components ourselves. Nearly 400-500 involved in manufacturing of Tejas.
    Tejas is base line or baby step. How many days we took for modified Tejas MK1A. Now Tejas MK2, AMCA and TEDBF in pipeline.
    Rustom was our baseline. Now Rustom 2, Archor NG.
    Once you have one technology, it lead to other technologies.
    Ghatak will be combination of Tejas and Rustom.

    Tejas MK1A is an excellent fighter Jet with its EW suite, onboard avionics, its weapons package and its stealth features. If a Mig21 can bring down an F16 then Tejas MK1A will become a force to reckon with from Feb'2024. HAL should increase delivery count to 32 per year.

    A very informative vedeo with significant technical details.
    With integration of Astra,it will be effective in BVR combats also❤.With best of avionics,Jamming capabilities,it will not be easy for enemy Radars, Planes to detect Tejas.
    SUGGESTION
    Only modification which it now badly needs is a retractable Refulling Probe which will significantly reduce rcs

    Good and we should induct at least 150 MK1A and start MK2 and AMCA. Tejas both versions number should be around 450 units in IAF. We should induct atleast 40 tejas per year starting 2024, otherwise a poor economy like Pakistan will be doing better with their air force than us. China has been going all guns blazing with fighter aircraft manufacturing and our CCS don't have time to issue funds. On a serious note, we could have the MK2 and Amca under flight trials by now with timely funding, but there is no accountablity parameter for delaying these projects.

    8:10 Tejas production capacity of 24 units per year is an overestimation..
    The latest line (at HAL Nashik) has a 2,5,8 plan.. That is 1st year 2 units, 5 next and so on..

    we all know our Tejas is a stop gap and replacing migs and jaguars in coming days so it's just a request from my end.

    The production of 24 Tejas Mk1 A aircrafts per year from2025-26 onwards is a must for HAL
    There is no other option & excuse to lower this number at any cost.
    Only this rate of production will ensure the survivability of IAF strength besides keeping it shipshape.

    Does the IAF see the Tejas Mark 1A as a defensive weapons system to be used to defend the domestic airspace, or also capable of taking the conflict into enemy airspace? Can the Tejas Mark 1A be used as Group Captain Abhinandan Varthaman used the MiG 21 Bison in enemy airspace? Can it be used in operations like the Balakot airstrike? I hope situations don't deteriorate to the extent that we need to plan a similar strike in Pakistani territory.

    Production of only 24 per year is far behind in terms of countries like US UK France China. India should increase its production completion to at least 50 aircrafts per annual. Jai Bharat 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳☝️😊

    • @molidesarkar7482
      @molidesarkar7482 ปีที่แล้ว

      Based on order bro. If iaf give order of additional 50 aircraft of mk1a then the production line will be 24 per year. If iaf give order of minimum 300 mk1a then the production can go to 75 per year. So it was based on order and given timeline of IAF

      @molidesarkar7482 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bro don't worry drdo officials have said that if the weight of Astra mk2 get slightly decrease then it range can be go upto 210 km which is 10km more than the meteor missle and also a answer of pl-21 misslie. Drdo is rapidly working on its both varients . Limited series production get started

      Can they lock and fire missile from 200km range against Tejas ??

    • @IndianDefenseAnalysis
      @IndianDefenseAnalysis  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is difference between detection and engagement range. Further range of radar is also related to RCS. So it won’t be easy intact rough for Chinese to counter Tejas .

  • @siliconcore
    @siliconcore ปีที่แล้ว

    chinese radar has a range of 200 km 140 km is to low sadly and there tech on missiles is better than us making this uttam radar useless for now

    • @Motivation-qf5gg
      @Motivation-qf5gg ปีที่แล้ว

      No you’re mixing things up! Chinese radar range is based on a rcs of 5m^2. Utam of 140km is based on tejas rcs is far far far below 5m^2. In fact it’s below 1m^2 if I remember correctly. Utam performance is actually pretty good!
