I wouldn’t be surprised if general brash personally threw a 500kg bomb from his ship’s cargo hold. Remember, all guns on our ship are muzzle loaded, so it’s normal for crew members to carry around massive 380mm HE shells. Throwing half a ton of explosive power is commonplace amidst the super earth patriots

Yeah it can feel great at times, then suddenly you can't hit 72348 automatons 3 meters in front of you. Extremely inconsistent.

This was posted at about the EXACT time i saw this in person. It was a minimg sample mission, i plug in the terminal, go prone for stealth becuase im playing a sniper build, i watch them all drop, and then the last dropship brings in a factory strider on my head.

2:58 That was actually a fairly known bug and also one of the reasons the Railgun was nerfed so quickly. Console had such wonky damage of certain weapons against certain enemies that even the nerfed Railgun could 1-2-shot Titans in the face.
I expect that they'll slightly buff the Railgun in the near future since they now won't get completely f'd up statistics.
Edit: 5:41 Important word here is "may". I'm aware this bug exists as I've seen video evidence, but neither me nor my buddies have encountered this bug in almost 300 hours of playtime.
Yes, bots can "bleed" out. Most notably when you destroy hulk vents with weapons that don't quite overkill them. I find this happens most consistently with the autocannon and anti material rifle.

My eagle ran out of 500kgs. After calling In another. Eagle 1 flew over head and dropped general Basch. Killing everything and everyone.
2nd hand info, but I read on the Discord that a CM has acknowledged they know what the DOT issue is and roughly how to fix it. But DOTs and/or the fix touches on a large number of various game systems. And if they aren't careful with how they fix it, it could wreck the rest of the game. So it's fixable but very tricky, and they are being very careful in testing it...
The crash at the end of missions is the worst one!
Thank you for your amazing update videos, I have not been able to play much as the crash at the end of missions is not only very annoying after 100% compeleting a mission to have no reward and wasting time but also it keeps knocking my PC out and I am worried it is doing damage to my PC, I am glad you mentioned this crash and that they are working on it.

happy to see that even if slowly they are ironing out stuff bit by bit, while adding neat stuff here and there, even if frustrating cause of the crashes it's a good refresh rate for content, even just the acid planet you can play on is pretty cool as a change of pace
(btw new planet modifier leaks are insane, i was prayng to have caves to fight terminids in, or the automaton graveyards)
New bug, orbital laser will prioritize gunships over hulks and waste their entire duration targeting the shadow on the ground instead of the enemy's actual model.
So glad they mentioned the spear. I absolutely love the spear and will be maining it on bot missions as soon as it’s fixed
Haven’t had any crashes since the previous update thank goodness. Back in action now and loving every Dive.
The different damage on console is probably referring to the railgun bug, being able to 2-shot bile titans when you have a ps5 lobby or something.
I heard the same bug may have allso applied to the eruptor?
I bough the support weapon resupply ship modules asap bc it made the that part of the ship interior look cool.
Also there’s something like ps5 players or if a ps5 player is host everyone else beside the host can two shot bile titans with a rail gun in the face, otherwise it’s 8+ shots. Not sure if that’s what they’re referring to or it that’s been changed yet.
I think that’s in reference to how you can two a bile titan with a railgun if you had ps5 player as host but couldn’t if it was pc player
I heard that in console you could also kill a charger with 2 AC shots at its leg.

The factory striders becoming more prevelant, the addition of them and gunships, the addition of bugs, the more wide spread/more prevelant spread of bugs. etc lol.
The DoT bug is the worst problems we have had since the Arc bug. Most other bugs are things that just happen at random (crashes, stratagem bounces) or can be easily played around (foliage, scope alignment). Annoying, but doesn't really affect my enjoyment. But the bugs that make a part of our arsenal unusable really degrades the playing experience. I'm amazed that it hasn't got high priority over the issues solved in this patch. But I guess it's more complicated and requires much more work to solve than those.
Hopefully they revert the fire damage after that, especially on the husk that instantly kills you

To give them some praise, the ingame crashing on PS5 (for me) has been fully rectified. I still get some crashing pre-game, but I can live with that for a while.
How do you not know about the pc vs console damage? Do you also not know DoT effects only work for the host?
General Brash once got shot by an Arc Thrower.
He tanked it and it reflected to the Arc Thrower user disitigrating him immediately.

They need to fix the first person bug where if you switch from your primary to secondary while aiming, sometimes you get stuck in first person.

Now that we know how they are deployed, the factory strider will be easy pickings if you can get it in time during its drop ship call in.

2:50 that was a big problem for ages, you could reliably two-shot bile titans with the post-nerf railgun, but only if the host was a PS5 user
I've been waiting for the Strider Drops to happenieng, had a gut feeling that was gonna happen at some point.
I don't know if it was this patch that did it, but it appears the "evacuate high value assets" missions appear on bug planets now too. They seem to be a bit on the easy side at the moment though.
That was from day one when they introduced this mission

By the way, the "General brash once killed a tank by pointing his finger at it and going bang" is a Warhammer 40k reference. The Orks in Warhammer 40k have a collective psionic field that warps reality around them, so if enough orks believe something it will be made reality. So the more joking side of the community (look up 1d4chan) once created an event where a group of guardsmen ran out of ammo, so they took to aiming their rifles at the orks and simply saying bang. Due to the ork belief that guns go bang the orks were shot. A guardsmen even blew up a tank while shouting BANG, because anti tank weapons have a bigger bang. The orks won the engagement though, they shouted Tank Tank at the guardsmen and they were all crushed on the spot as if run over by a tank.

just listen to how crazy detailed and specific the bugs are in this patch update. the game mechanics model for HD2 is so insane it's amazing to me that it works even as well as it does. honestly S tier co-op game. just surpassed level 50 and never once questioned the use of those 100+ hours! MY LIFE FOR SUPER EARTH!!!

So there's still issues with the arc weapons. Yesterday I was trying to shoot a Hulk that was stuck like 5 meters away and the weapon didn't want to hit him at all. Tried like 10 times, nothing. Same happened with berserkers rushing me and the gun refused to hit them that time.

Does anyone have a problem where you have three people and a fourth comes in, plays a few maps and then leaves and then you can’t ever get another fourth until we leave the ship and come back into another one? So we constantly play with three because it doesn’t allow a random to come in as the fourth. Gotta have fourth to help out, and yes we have checked our settings.

now there's a new one popping up on me where im trying to extract I can clear all enemies in the area waiting on the pelican and as soon as you turn around a dozen bots spawn 10 ft from you i wouldnt complain normally but its instant and withing melee range and its happened several times today like give me a few seconds to reload at least and there wasnt a bot drop in sight either

Is the granede pistol supposed to have 2 shots on its first use ? Every game I go in with it first time.i use it I have 2 shots and every other reload after it's a single shot 😅

cant even 1shot spewers so might aswell have that initial 2 shots even if it doesnt make sense at all.
@@shinarts4902 spewers cannot be killer with 1 genade(needs 2), even impact genede takes 2 direct hits to kill
The broken social menu has been a big one for me. I have to join others because it recognizes that I am a friend to them but has my friend list empty. I can send requests but they do nothing because I'm already on their friend list.
Ours dropped near extraction on dif 7 with only 5 spawns left and 7 mins on the clock. No one was surviving that before extraction.
normally people would be upset that developer's have bugs, but its nice to know that a lot of helldivers players are aware of the idea that bugs happen because of loopholes in the code. also nice to know that people are willing to be patient with them. remember that a lot of times in games that squashing bugs sadly only creates more bugs after getting rid of the big ones.
bruh superior packaging was the first upgrade I bought because im an autocannon enjoyer just to discover it was not working💀

The CE-27 Ground Breaker armor suit has a graphical glitch when aiming in 3rd-person view. Looks like a big spike sticking up on the right shoulder. I hope they fix it on PS5.

There's no mention of the weird ragdoll explosion direction-ness, reverse thing
Anyone else getting that? When a nearby explosion happens, instead of been thrown backwards, I occasionally get thrown forward, like it's an implosion. I'm typically getting it when using the bolt action gun when too close to something

@@tommy516 For myself on PC, you press number 4 on your keyboard so you have the grenade in your hand. Then you spam throw all the grenades until 0 and on your last grenade you spam the stratagem button while clicking mouse 1 and then stop. This shoudl give you a negative value of the grenades and then its unlimited.

I liked servo assisted on the ground breaker. I wished they kept it. There aren't many medium armours with servo assist.
So that's why I had to lower my aim on the anti material rifle

Fire damage is superb, when it works... if it doesn't that napalm strike is a wasted stratagem slot. Yesterday I threw one at 3 breaches lined up together, 0 kills. sadge
We need a fireproof armor set where the bonus is 90% fire reduction like the 90% arc damage reduction
Personally i prefer Servo assisted, lob those more dangerous statagems farther. also 50% limb health is nice.

Stealth fix: Ship landing and not allowing Helldiver could trigger ship extraction when Helldiver has entered the ship.
did they by any chance fix the infinite grenade glitch? its nice people are having fun with it, but i have had atleast one person per match do it and its honestly just annoying..
what about the fact i didn't get my 55 medals after the major order was completed?
