*this story must be imbibed metaphorically rather than literally...and i think almost all the miracles have metaphorical meanings. 🙏🙏*

Or… feed the hungry, give what little we seemingly have, trust the Lord to make it enough? I’ll go with your understanding… I’m a new Catholic.

That explanation isn't wrong, since sometimes there's more than 1 meaning or interpretation

Those 3 lessons may apply but you missed the point completely. It is a microcosm of the Church and the sacrament of the Eucharist. He gave the apostles the leadership authority of the church. He breaks the bread and distributes to his apostles who then distribute it to the people. They were told to sit down in groups of 50 and 100 representing locals churches/parishes. The apostles then go and bring the bread from Christ to the people. It’s a beautiful representation of the Holy Mass. When you understand apostolic succession it’s quite a beautiful story that Jesus told. And it’s the only miracle recorded in all 4 gospels - it’s that important.

so your 'interpretation of a story' is the correct one?

Love your videos however i do have a few questions and sort of present an argument. Where in either Mark, Matthew or any other place does it say that the bread is multiplied? I've only read that the bread was broken and that the people ate and were satisfied. Kind of thinking of the elvish bread from Lord of the Rings type of scenario only in this case, its God's gift to that many people. Not only that, but if we are gathering contextually that the 12 baskets represent the 12 tribes and 12 disciples, by that same logic, these baskets should be big enough to feed over at least a thousand people each. Gathering further in Matthew 15:27, the Canaanite woman claims that the dogs eat the crumbs from the masters table, not full loaves. Even by the "crumbs", she was able to have her daughter healed and her faith satisfied that of the Lord. Could it be the faith of the people is what satisfies their stomachs? If you could shed some light on this please. Thank you.

This event prefigures the Eucharist just as the manna from Heaven did, and is celebrated every day in every Catholic church throughout the world! Read John ch 6, then read what took place in the upper room. Feeding the hungry and trusting in Jesus is no doubt the message throughout the New Testament, but the summary and meaning of this is Eucharist.

The bread represents spiritual substance. The 5000 means the five senses infinitely the apostals doubting is your 12 states of being.
