The saddest part of this movie is how the Walt Disney quote at the end is the complete opposite of current Disney, who is constantly looking back at old movies to remake instead of making original stuff
Holy shit... I actually didn't think about it that way, but yeah... The Disney Brand is all about moving backwards now. It's really depressing seeing how this quote by Walt Disney has essentially been disrespected and forgotten about by Modern Disney because instead of moving forward and making anything new or risky... They're moving backwards and remaking anything that was already done and isn't risky (even though it still loses them money, but oh well 🤷). Such a damn shame.
th-cam.com/video/JlkBbb7SKyA/w-d-xo.html They did not, in fact, all hate him. This scene was so important as it showed how Goob couldn't move forward because of the fumble at his baseball game (not that it was his fault, mind you). Fun fact: The Bowler Hat Guy was originally supposed to be a more evil and serious villain, but when John Lassiter took charge of Disney and read the script, he told the production crew to make him a more comedic yet sympathetic villain and have him a partner to balance him out.

People actually do leave babies outside orphanages, but most places actually have "baby boxes" to leave the babies in overnight instead of just leaving them on the stoop. You put the baby in the box, and then rotate it so that the box is locked and gets replaced with a new one or something (not completely sure about the mechanics of the thing). That way the babies can't be stolen, but unfortunately they're still locked in a cold metal box overnight. It's basically a mailbox but for newborns.
