My wife sings at our local Catholic Church and was allowed to play the organ part on our pipe organ. It was so freaking awesome to hear that part blasted out on the organ, even our Music Minister was impressed.
Karazhan was just an amazing raid one thing i loved about it was that it was non-linear thats what makes raids like Ulduar and Karazhan awesome! Also i liked how it was just in the middle of nowhere
laber mich nicht zu I personally thought AQ40 was really fun. The encounters and the mounts to make the massive place more traversable was cool. Always took a long ass time to clear, but it was great, and that gate opening event was bloody incredible. And while you find AQ boring, I found Blackwing Lair boring. I hated all the Blackrock Mountain stuff. Eck. Just as my opinion is not fact, neither is yours.
I keep hearing this music in other raids. Like in MoP it randomly started playing in ToT, then another time in SoO. The other day it started playing in HFC. So strange haha
I remember doing Karazhan for the first time with my guild, and how nervous and excited I was. The many hours on vent, talking about boss strats and laughing at jokes... So many great times, Kara will always be my favorite raid.
This is AWESOME! Thank you so much! Just what I was looking for. These were the days...Karazhan was the shit...sooooooooooooo much fun. I loved every bit of it! I miss the BC days...would be a dream come true if they brought it back.
It's nigh impossible for me to decide, shich theme in WoW is the best, or even make a top 10 or 100, what remains certain however, is the fact that WoW has one of the best soundtracks in the history of gaming, and most themes go really well with the climate of areas they are played in. Case in point, the first time i stepped through Dark Portal, along with the music that started playing was one of the most memorable moments in my gaming life.
Agree 100%! I'd even go as far as to say TBC is one of the most memorable and joyful periods in my life. Not sure if that says more about my life or the game though.
you are totaaly right. Blizzard makes the best cinematics and compose best musics for WoW. no other franchise is no match for Blizzard about these 2 things.
I think Ulduar is the best raid in terms of bosses mechanics, the atmosphere were great too. But come on, you can only describe Karazhan with one word: epic. Such a nice and beutiful music, the story behind all, the feeling that you were going deeper and deeper into a haunted/damned/whatever castle was amazing. I will never get bored of Karazhan, still have it in my own number 1 list since BC.
Karazhan will always be my favorite raid :) I'm a sucker for a good ghost story and an awesome raid with various encounters. Kara always fulfilled :) and the music is the best! :D Thanks for putting this together! :)
This is fucking awesome. The level of attention and detail they put into their game before selling themselves to activation is highly noticeable. The new raids have no aesthetic and no soul put into them. It feels as if their artists do their job without ambition and only for the money... ...i don't blame them though, i wouldn't feel for working at activation either, knowing that their ulterior motive is monetary gain.
I know some people will relate to me, when you were new to WoW and you were trash, you knew that this dungeon existed but it was far out of reach and it was so difficult to get a good group to advance after the opera part, 50% of the groups would not even make it past the first horse( keep in mind i am talking when burning crusade first launched and everything was very very new). I am aware that this dungeon is a piece of cake with training but man oh man in my youth there isnt many things for me that are going to beat this in terms of immersion. Not to mention the music is fantastic.
Thank you so much for this because I've been using it for years, particularly the guest chambers section, to call my cat over. years ago i had this as my ring tone and my cat would come running when it rang. Now when I want him to come to bed or anything, I start playing guest chambers and he'll chip and run over to me ❤️
I could give my whole account with all the 2 year progress for coming back to vanilla times to be a noobie player. I don't think cataclysm or mists of Pandaria sucks, but it would be awesome to do all these old raids on 60/70/80 lvl :D
***** I hear Feenix is pretty bad though. Valkyrie WoW doesn't have any power buying and abusive mods and such. It's currently at the AQ War Effort and Smooth McGroove (does Video Game acapellas) runs a pretty huge guild on there called Smooth McGuild full of active players from most timezones 'round the world.
maaaan... Karazhan is one of the best designed dungeons in WoW and in all mmorpgs. Not only the bosses are all unique and interesting, but the level design and the theme are all outstanding. Well done, Blizz.
Those good old times when you actually enjoyed getting lost inside a dungeon while player this grandious music... it felt as if it was almost... maddening.
Damn, I've played Warcraft for so many years starting with War 1...definitely a part of me. While the gameplay has improved the immersion certainly has not. Maybe it's because I just got older.
kara... what a priceless and overall masrerpiece to experience. if blizzard ever made a park... i'd go just to see a full mock up of kara... that would be one wicked ride!
My first experiance raiding was in kara and I can still remember blasting this ingame music as I waited for the group to form up haha fun times. Little did I know good or bad this one amazing raid would launch me into sleepless nights of raiding wiping on bosses which aburptly ended after I slayed the lich king. So many hours wasted but looking back the memories makes it feel worth it. And I will never forget the first place that I can thank for that experiance....Karazhan
"Behold, ghoules and liches are dancing with nefandous glee acrost dark, deep ravines to the curs´d blasting and wailing of an raucous organ. and witches hold there unholy rites ´neath the Elder Sign in eerie, silent and malign processions ´round nitrid, sulph´rous tombs"
My God, I love it so much, it brings back memories.... I started playing WoW with tbc and Karazhan was my first raid dungeon. Will never forget my awesome guild and the funny karazhan raids with them. That was so exciting! My absolute favourite dungeon, especially trough the music. Never had that feeling afterwards :
It's amazing how similar our histories are ... I, too, began playing in TBC and Kara was my first true raid experience. To this day it is my favorite raid. The atmosphere, the story, the mix-and-match feel of the bosses and encounters, and most especially, the music - all of it together made for an unforgettable experience.
Ha! And all that attunement process for getting that key wasn't so short. Started with quests sometime at lvl 66 (with Escape from Durnholde if I recall correctly). It was fun in the beginning, not so fun when doing it on 3rd alt. And getting through Karazhan was crucial if you wanted to progress further in raids.
@jakecoutu13 then there was the Scourge Invasion prior to WotlK. An additional boss was added near the Huntsman. Go up a long set of stairs to a door where a vampire boss was. He would teleport and throw fireballs at you. Sound familiar? The quest reward was a trinket called the "Monster Slayer's Kit." If you used it it would throw an axe, holy water, a silver knife, or even a cross that would boomerang back to you!
Arthas's lore isn't even the best tbh, it's great but overrated. The emerald nightmare, the old gods, and the void lords trump his lore easily imo. And saying that wow is dead because we finally got to kill him after years is just hyperbolic ignorance
that music reminds me of good times back in wow. we've just made a fun run with my friend in kara 4 days ago. it was pretty nostalgic to see the bosses and all the quotes. opera event ftw.
I purchased 1 month of gametime just do solo Karazhan. This was by far the best dungeon ever! The dark castle, the sounds, the bosses, the packs. This was the best!
I've played WoW for many years and somehow I've never been inside Karazhan so i've never heard this music. I mean I don't raid but still. This is a really good track
it is solo-able on about any class of level 90 now, so I clear it on my mage for pets and a chance at the huntsman's mount. I always play with the sound on (the Chess encounter is just stupid though, when you are trying to solo.)
Ah.. Karazhan truly is a great example of what raids SHOULD be like. The atmosphere, there's a lot of different things and places, the music is simply awesome, and the story behind the whole place is good. Everytime I hear Karazhan musics I get chills and I just want to go through it again :D Once you get in you're just trapped there, cause it's too awesome to leave. And the chess! It's just awesome! xD I can't praise this raid enough!
Karazhan was just so amazing.. That wa the ONE raid I never got bored of. Even after having cleared Sunwell, we'd always go in Karazhan with pre-raid blues and even greens and just have a ball..
This Dungeon/Instance/Raid was one of the creepiest I went through. The music inhances the creepiness as you go though it... -Shivers- After I went though it once i swore to never go back to it again! Just the sight of it when am flying sends chills down my spine...
I love that, shady-foggy atmosphere of outside, and also crazy tall dark brick towers, along with a twisted grand magus ( guardian ) and his crazy servants, guests.... indoor stable, room sized living chess game, and a theater stage. Very unique place :)
I will always have a soft spot for Karazhan. It was a source of pride to hit 67 and start the quest chain for the door key (on a pvp server, have your own key or get left outside to get ganked)! To this day, I still love to go in there, clean house and just wander around looking at all the detail and hidden passages I'd missed the first time. I dearly wish they'd do more with it, expanding it into multiple runs like they did with Blackrock Mountain.
@DigiBullet23 BRD was amazing - it was sooo massive and you could easily get lost in there. You could start it at around level 51 and not finish it until you were a pretty geared 60. There were so many tricks to learn to get through the dungeon like the gettting passed 'The Bar' room. They would keep it relevant to raiders because it was the only place to smelt 'dark iron ore.' If you lost to the final boss, he would say 'Hail to the King Baby!!!' How cool is that?
ahh this brings back so many memorys, this was the my prime time in wow, the best times where spent there (IMO) ... wish i could go back and do it all again with the old guild hehe.
How I know the music is in? Played the beta. It's in the haunted mines level. Kind of hidden, gotta listen closely. It's after being killed and while waiting for respawn.
I actually had 9 IRL friends who were playing wow at the time of TBC. We were all spread out class wise and could raid Kara as only IRL buddies. We had such a good time LANing in my parents' house while they were on vacation. Fuck I would do anything to go back to those days again. Being a kid was awesome! No worries, just enjoying life. Cherice your time as a kid, it's be best time you'll ever have!
Karazan Wow what a masterpiece Music, theme, Atmosphere, storyline, dungeon design, novelty, climax up to the boss fights. Uniqueness & diversity. A constant treat of wonder & excitement from corridor to corridor, room to room & floor by floor & what not. This by far is the best of Blizzard I have experienced in warcraft. The way music leads you through from mobs to the climax of the boss fight is truly enjoyable specially nightbane & prince background music is awesome
i remember.... Karazhan was my first raid. When I entered for the first time.... to this day I remember sound of creaking wooden door. My heart was pumping and I was so excited/scared!
I still run this raid even though i already got the fiery warhorse....the music and design of the castle is just beautiful. One of the better raids in wow.
Karazhan is by far the best raiding instance on WoW. It's rather depressing that it's no longer gear worthy. The music, detail, story, and scripting was amazing.
Their music dept did a fantastic job for this zone. Although anyone who farmed it for many months burned out on most of the fights, IMO, this is the best overall instance that the Blizz team ever did. Just amazing place.
My wife sings at our local Catholic Church and was allowed to play the organ part on our pipe organ. It was so freaking awesome to hear that part blasted out on the organ, even our Music Minister was impressed.
That's awesome, it's always fun hearing music from games get use elsewhere. :)
Record it please!!!
yea dude post that !
I want this to be played in some nearby local church.. but hey, there is no organ, neither me :\
tachikoma747 its a lap bitchbitchplease.
absolutely love how the music gets more and more dire the higher you progress up the tower
It is digress
@@Freeknickers24, no it isn't. Check out a dictionary.
23 people couldn't get past the chess event
That thing is a real pain :P
Edit: It's very easy lol
Easiest part of the dungeon if you know what you're doing.
Lord Kil'jaeden I feel like you smacked a lot of people in the face with those words.
+Ian Viola lmao
"Time for an alternative scenario..." - Echo of Medivh cheats "F*CK YOU!!!" - everyone in the raid group
solo this thing with this music is fucking scary...
Karazhan was just an amazing raid one thing i loved about it was that it was non-linear thats what makes raids like Ulduar and Karazhan awesome!
Also i liked how it was just in the middle of nowhere
Best raids each form of WoW:
Vanilla: AQ40
BC: Karazhan
LK: Ulduar
Cata: Dragon Soul [that shit was fun]
MoP: Throne of Thunder
WoD: Highmaul
+Desa Iree AQ was boring as shit..naxxramas and blackwing beat AQ by far
laber mich nicht zu To each their own.
Desa Iree so you're into boring stuff in the sands?
laber mich nicht zu I personally thought AQ40 was really fun.
Best raid ever. I doubt there has even been a raid as awesome as kara in the two expansions I've missed.
Equis Igriegazeta I agree, there has'nt been ANY raid after KZ as good as KZ was period.
mingiasi Ulduar was pretty awesome too.
Equis Igriegazeta Correct
+Eprex1337 I agree besides the first boss in the machines was abit annoying not going to lie -.-
+Equis Igriegazeta Ulduar is Epic in its own way... also held very high by the community
The menagerie is for guests only.
You are not a guest.
Luigi, The Overlooked Shadow Gallery rules will be strictly enforced.
***** Guys if you crit the sparks hard enough you can grab agro and help OT !
I love my little Menagerie Custodian as he randomly talks while I beat the crap out of the actual Curator.
LF tank Kara. On Curator.
So much nostalgia ;_;
lol cant tell you how many times ive read that in world chat
+Captain Falcon So easy to level up as a tank because all your dungeon crews are not tanks so there's always expendable anything not tank.

Coming back after so many years, to listen this masterpiece.. my soul is delight
I come directly here after the 7.1 announcement ^^
Same .. My fav raid!
haha same^^
It sounds like they just had fun with this music, but it turned into such an iconic and amazing piece of music
The song, (Karazhan 2), is so iconic, I used it as my ringtone for my phone!
Hey do any of you know where Mankrik's wife is? Is she in this tower?
She is hustlin somewhere on the road between Camp Taurajo and Crossroads my nigga
dat pitsch got raped by a kodo-gang in a tent.
kodo gang bang u meann ?

hmm unannounced visitors, preperations must be made ...
I remember doing Karazhan for the first time with my guild, and how nervous and excited I was.
The many hours on vent, talking about boss strats and laughing at jokes... So many great times, Kara will always be my favorite raid.
I had a smile on my face when I heard the word "Karazhan" in the Warcraft film, guess why.
Me too.
eerypoet4 arc5555 I expected Moroes to be like "Mmmh, unannounced visitors... Preparrrations must be made!"
+Deusirae79 I expected him to be thin and with blinders.
So can't wait for the return to Karazhan in a number of the artifact quest lines in Legion.
This is AWESOME! Thank you so much! Just what I was looking for. These were the days...Karazhan was the shit...sooooooooooooo much fun. I loved every bit of it! I miss the BC days...would be a dream come true if they brought it back.

Kara, Dal and Eversong Woods are my three favorites. :3
It's strange how this music makes me feel so good inside for just having played a game... It just brings back such good memories and nostalgia
Just realized, the Dragon Shire map in Heroes of the Storm. They're playing Karazhan's music.
ImperfectCT Really? Cool, could you give me a timestamp for this video when the music plays in Dragon Shire?
Oh my god so much yes.
What a Vampiric sound!! Amazing and epic
nooooooooooooostalgiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

After all these years.. Karazhan is still the best dungeon ever in World of Warcraft.Miss TBC badly...
dungeon? are you kidding me?!

+xRelyz all the raids have pretty fucking awesome atmospheres and feeling imo, personal preference I guess

If it's not in the 7.1 Karazhan dungeon I will be super sad.
They used the same song for the trailer so I think it will be in the dungeon
They also kept the music for other dungeon revamps, so I think it's safe to assume that these tracks will stay in places.
Hello, just want to say it will be
Thank you so much for this because I've been using it for years, particularly the guest chambers section, to call my cat over. years ago i had this as my ring tone and my cat would come running when it rang. Amen to that, bro!
no Blizzard really has destroyed the immersion. Get on a good old-world private server and it'll all come back to you.
Wow classic is coming. Can't freaking wait to feel the need for others whilst questing again.

the kind of raid/music that makes all your hair stand up at once and reminds you that it once was hard and took hours to get through.
These music is so awesome.....that u can feel karazhan is no longer in video game but ure inside the banquet hall!
im so amazed of this music.. it's making me strong!
Oh how I miss Kara. And all the BC raids. Kara just had this theme that made it feel so... Epic.
this was my favorite raid instance in tbc:)) and music nah it fits with the atmosphere! its cool! karazhan we won't forget you!
This is the 2nd best compilation i've seen today... If you know what I mean...
I love this music man! Thanks for making a video about it!
i miss kara!!!!! so many childhood memories this music was the shit i agree with seigbiff does make you feel great
I still run this raid even though i already got the fiery warhorse....the music and design of the castle is just beautiful. One of the better raids in wow.
O.o That sound like a wonderfully epic idea, my good sir.
Kara and ulduar are the best raid in wow.
Thanks for upload
