🎤 Have you read any Freda McFadden? Never Lie has a crazy plot twist that I did not see coming. And Alice Feeney's Sometimes I Lie, I had to go back and reread to piece it all together with what I missed. Good reads. The Couple Next Door,,, so good.

Oh my gosh, when you mentioned me I died. 😂 definitely agree about verity, though idk that I’m looking for similar books. I don’t think I’ll ever in read that one again but I’m glad I did read it that’s for sure. It was a wild ride! 👏 Also agree with you on Home Before Dark! Loved that one!
Read most of the books you mentioned. Loved them! I want to read The House in the Pines.I read Night Swim recently and will read Stay Awake when I pick it up at my library tomorrow.
Books to add to your list.... Behind Closed Doors by BA Paris In My Dreams I Hold a Knife by Ashley Winstead The Drowning Woman by Robyn Harding None Of This is True by Lisa Jewell The Last Word by Taylor Adams The Housemaid by Frieda McFadden
The Silent Patient was the first audiobook I listened to on a long road trip. That's how I got into Thrillers and it's still my favorite. Verity is my second fav.
I agree with 7 of these! And it's only 7 because I have yet to read 3 of them, Don't Go Down There, For Better and Worse, and The House in the Pines. I already borrowed 2 of them and 1 is on hold. We obviously have the exact same taste!! I can't wait to get started.
I just finished For Better or Worse!! It was right up my alley for sure, but I am lil sad bc I don't feel like there was a plot twist? I was waiting for a huge reveal. I guess my expectations were too high? I still really liked it tho.
Catching up on videos. I loved The Silent Patient. Agree with you about all of them. The only one I haven't read yet is The House in the Pines. I will definitely check that one out. 🎤
Verity is the one I recommend to everyone! My goodness. That last chapter…. I threw the book across the room. 😂 Not out of anger.. out of pure annoyance and shock. I’m still trying to figure it out.. 😂 The House Across the Lake. When you said she kind of an alcoholic, I laughed. Then you said well, she is a alcoholic. And I was happy and said to myself, yes, let’s not sugarcoat thing. Lol GREAT RECOMMENDATIONS!
“The Fear” by Natasha Preston At the end I was like *closes book* …*blinks / scrunches face*…*opens book to make sure it was the last page* wait what?! Was thinking about it the rest of the night
Not a thriller but I did not see the ending of I’m thinking of ending things coming and I had to reread the twist part bc I didn’t get it at first (that’s how out of left field it was for me personally)

Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult had me re-reading the whole book because of the insane plot twist. Definitely recommend!

I feel like im the only one who didnt care much for Home Before Dark.
The ending kind of made me mad.
Loved The Silent Patient though, very very good.
Not me pausing the video to add each book to my Amazon book list 😭
Glad I could provide more recommendations.
Okay, I was hanging with you through the silent patient and no exit until you said you liked the movie for no exit and I’m like HOW THOUGH?! 🙈😂
The movie for no exit was 🤮
Darby in the book I was so emotionally invested in, Darby in the movie 🥱
