The audiobook is amazing, I gave it 5 stars even though the mystery itself was predictable. The little storyline with her and the patisserie had me dying 😅
I just read this! I didn't even know you read it too, but i really enhoyed it. Such a fun little mystery. Put Vera on a cruise ship or something and that would be a fun mystery!
This is a new genre for me, which was a part of joining book club this year to take myself out of my normal reading. Possibly because of that, I didn not guess the killer even though I knew early on it wasn't any of our main characters. The authour would have got us all pretty good if it was Tilly! He just kills a man so Mom will close the shop. I don't think any of this book can be taken seriously, but it's why I loved it. I gave it 5 stars!
I loved it. I hope Jesse Sutanto will write more in the series. It reminded me so much of Kim‘s Convenience, which is one of my favourite shows. Even though KC isn‘t a mystery. But the cozy little shop, the quirks of the characters, the loveable cast, it screams Kim‘s Convenience IMO.
Dang it I missed the live ! 😂 I read the book tho and I give it a wonderful 3.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ Yasss Kayla! One thing I would change: more details about what happened between each character and Marshall earlier or at different points. It’s like we found everything out all at once. Similar book: Glory Be by Danielle Arceneaux.
I gave it a 3.5 because it was a good book. The one major thing that was bothering me was he was having an anaphylactic shock. Instead of going to the hospital, he went into the tea shop

Missed the live show for work, but I read this last year and gave it 4.5 stars ♥️

I guessing Tilly too for about half the book!

4 stars for me! I found Vera very annoying at first, especially with Tilly. But her character eventually grew ☺️
Watching a bit late but YES Veronica Speedwell!

Oh sorry. I didn’t think about that.
She is 60 lol. Not really a little old lady
very true haha, blame the publisher-cause I just grabbed that wording directly from the synopsis 🤭
