Bunio 07 Personally I believe it has to do with what your allies are doing and your enemy doctrines, its not a yes or no answer, a are you rushing or turtling? For example if the enemies are having plenty of anti air then close air support is gonna be less efficient
I would choose the cromwell. It's fast, can crush easily and you don't have to keep changing the round from HE to AP all the time. Though the Sherman smoke is more reliable.
