I can't thank you enough for these series of very helpful videos. I'm new to RC helicopter flying (started 12 months ago) and needless to say I've had a few nasty moments. I started with the Blade 200 SRX and can now rebuild that helicopter in the dark I've done it so many times...!! I've just bought a Blade 230S as I want to learn 3D flying. I'm sure your repair videos will be an essential part of the learning process....!!!
Thank you so much for this excellent video. I was just about to lose my mind squinting at the parts diagram, trying to figure out what goes where. Am enjoying your other videos as well.
Very helpful vid Jack...thanks! The thrust bearing inner and outer race explanation was perfect. I didn't realize they had different I.D.'s. This helped me out on my 270 tail rebuild too.
Thank you so much for your time helping us out of a situation time and again! The reassembly order of the parts is crucial. I have just gotten back in the air with a Blade 230 S V2, and U guessed it, I'm ordering new parts again, those trees have heli magnets in them! but I ain't givin up as long as I have U and a parts source, and a bank account, ha ha.. Lastly, why would your Category be Comedy? I certainly don't agree with that!! I should be cost savings, educational for sure!
I'm really puzzled. I put everything back together and now the grips are rachety, not smooth when you rotate them. I put everything back that I took out. What do you suggest? The grips don't move smoothly like they should. Thanks.
When you compare the diameters of the inside and outside races, I get confused. You keep referring to the inside diameters of the 2 races, but I think what you really mean to say is the OUTSIDE diameter of the inner race is the larger of the 2 races. Or am I not hearing your description properly? Isn't the ID of both races the same?
Great video's!! Has helped me out a lot! Do have one question for you. I just replaced the main grips and swash plate with the Rakon upgrades! I seem to have lost collective, during takeoff and in air power. Seems like the main grips vary some with the stock ones! Any idea's? Thanks again...
Thank you so much. You saved me about $50 for the repair bill. Took about 15 minutes. Your videos got me back into helis after a 15 year absence.
Bro' it's folks like us who share what we know about things that we are passionate about that make the world a much sweeter place. Thanks.
Thanks for all your repair vids on the 230s. Saved me hours after I had a run in with an immovable object (Gazebo).
You're welcome

Andy G. Thanks for watching
Thank you!!!!!!! We pulled them out and thought it would be a few pieces so we did it haphazardly. ..
Thanks, I had to order new bearings because of a piss poor job taking it apart after a crash. This will help with the reinstall for sure, thanks.
Cool good luck
Thanks so much, very helpful and well explained
You’re welcome
Thanks for the info. It helped me put my 300x back together, the spindle can be tricky.

What size is the Allen key needed to undo the spindle bolts? I've only got one Allen key. Is it 1.5mm?
Hello, how are you doing ? Can I use the same assembly for my Blade 300 CFX ?(I have the parts BLH4504)
You saved me! Thx jj.
Rodney Gullett your welcome buddy
