The Spectacular Spider-Man also been popular doesn't negate the 90's series popularity. You want underrated, I'd go Spiderman The New Animated Series based of the first Raimi film. Look up the definition of underrated

Let’s hope we get Spider-Man ‘98. After all, they already showed the cameo of Mary Jane and Peter Parker in the last episode of X-men ‘97 season 1.
And Beau confirmed that is the real Mary Jane so he did find her.
Man, Aerosmith was on Demon Time when they made the original theme, this is bloody amazing.
This is still my favorite Spider-Man adaptation, and this show had my favorite Spider-Man actor. Great job remixing this iconic theme.
