Aww, love your hitchhiker. Beautiful sunset (6:54). Lovely days on the Days. A welcome breeze, a silvery sunrise (13:45). Dolphins return to swim with the boat! Wow, great footage. And now a Whale! To conclude the day, the Fothergills tackle some waves. Archie wants to camp out, doesn't need company.
Safe journeys. I must say Archie is truly one of a kind, with a bad arm, he still goes surfing. Sleeps on the fordeck as well...... love the video's!!!!
You are one of the few sailing a Parasailor .. don’t know why … it’s so good , versatile both in wind direction and wind speed … everybody should have one
I adore your sailing family. The way they pitch in is heartwarming. I would've loved to have seen more surfing footage. But, I understand how hard that is to capture. Especially when you could be surfing too.
Following your request litle girl, I have given thums-up. Have an nice jorney. If you pass in Brazil, all your family are welcome. I'm around on the middle. São Paulo. Cheers
Thanks for sharing this adventure, your well adjusted and funny kids will have a go at anything. An absolute credit to you both. Love to all and safe travels.
Interesting challenge with fickle winds. Great depiction of a passage and the everyday life on board. Great dolphin and whale pics . Surfboard maintenance and carb loading , great family times. Thanks for sharing really cool. Did Archie sleep the whole night out there? Love the @zatara shirt .
Really enjoyed the dolphin show and the whale. The dolphins were getting some altitude on those jumps. Also, enjoyed the surfing. But, what happened to Archie's arm?
man i was missing you...wish you made more videos...but i immagine, managing a family a boat and life is not that easy...myself i have 2 kids and i can only immagine how hard is it for you...thnks for the inspiring videos!!!!
Yeah time is precious and can only be divided up so much 😏 Trying to get a video out every two weeks and teaching some of the kids to edit too. Thanks for the comment!
I remember sailing into Admiralty Bay I think it was on the South Island and had 200-300 dolphins come at us looking like a squall on the water, was amazing. They hung with us for hours when we were on anchor ⚓️
Yes it’s always a thought in the back of our minds but we don’t let it consume us. Rather we educate them and ourselves about safety and consequences of those ‘what if’ moments.

Great video ,this landlubber from the Canadian prairies loved it . Cheers
Cheers to you too 👍
Best sailing channel. You guys are awesome 🙂🙂
Oh yeah! Best comment 😁
Are you sailing as an Australian vessel? Just noticed the Federation Star on your flag. I didn't think Kiwis had that?
Yes both of us were born in NZ kids all born in Australia. So the vessel is Australian 😉
👍⛵🎣🌊💯
Did you get the little bird a drink of water?
Yeah we offered water too 🐦
#late to the party , I have seen this sail used on another yacht and they worked out that 2 ropes were sufficient, rather than 4
Really… send us a link if you can find it. Would make it a bit easier for us 😉

Just saw it. Hurt his hand doing a trick. Do your crazy kids ever get splinters? Or knee scrapes? Go big or go home, huh?
Yeah they get knee scrapes and splinters but no much sympathy for such things.
@@sailingwithsix I'm with you on that. No ambulance - no pity.
Dad joke alert! This channel should be fined for breaking the smiles a minute!
Love a good dad joke 😂
