Great Teamwork ! Mom & Dad are patient and kind when speaking to each other and kids, great example for other families. I love spinnaker sails, so beautiful🌼
I’d love to see some of the daily living stuff! Like meals you make, provisioning, cooking what you’ve caught, and some of the ongoings inside the cabin!
Another groovy 'Day in the life' of your family's sailing adventures. I love it when you children talk about the operations of your sailing. So cute and so very adorable. Stay groovy and stay safe.
I love how you guys give everything a go and put in the effort i.e. socking the parasail after realising the main needed to come down then flying it again instead of just going back to wing on wing, brilliant.
Discretion the better part of valor, with Pamela on the warpath. Everyone helping with the baking, plenty of workspace on Happy Days. Bella at the helm, the Sea of Cortez raging majestic (8:21 - 9:21). Fresh fish for dinner! All hands on deck to raise the new spinnaker- she sure looks pretty! And a race against nightfall to reach port.
Great episode. Loved the explanations of risk management with cyclone Pamela. Great learning experience with big red. Loved Pippa’s narration and Archie backing her up. With a mahi-mahi to boot. Awesome.
Another very enjoyable video. It's a testament to you both how switched on your children are & how enthusiastic & involved they are. Parenting done well
@@sailingwithsix Serves you right. :-))))))))) Literally! You have a long way ahead in Spanish speaking waters. With which I wish you the best of lucks. 🙂
Happy birthday Bella 🎉🎈🎊🍰🎂 and how old are the kids now . It's good to see how you learn you kids how everything works. And they are helping well . Nice to see the parasailing when you pull it up and gets his wind , and bring it down was all so easy. Nice vlog . Greetings to you all from the Netherlands 🌷🌹💐 Johny
.... smart move high tailing it north .. that para sail sure works well ..... what would happen if the ropes to the bow were let off some, would that allow the sail to have a wider stance .... it just seems strange to restrict in such a way ... I have to point out that I really know nothing about it, just wondered .... also happy birthday Bella .... thx for sharing .. as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ....
Thanks for the comment! Yes releasing the ropes at the bow would let it out a bit and it would fly higher. We are always learning and still got to figure out how to trim it correctly 😉
@@sailingwithsix ..... Yup ! learning new stuff is what life is about .. as the old saying goes "a day with nothing learnt is a day wasted .... thx for your reply ... make it a tremendous week ....
Isnt wing on wing the same as a Solent rig....lighter air downwind sailing? Definately dont loose the snuffer line for a spinnaker/parra sail. Otherwise catching the line is a ugger and if it gets tangled you might have to go aloft. It happened to Delos.. on a monohull you can imagine.
Almost all sailers eat supper after dark. I have always preferred eating much earlier. I usually eat before 6. There is time for my food to digest before bed. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on this.
We would prefer to eat early but living on a boat we tend to make the most of playing in daylight hours and eating whenever the food is ready 😂 our life does not follow a routine (much to mum’s frustration sometimes 😏) but we embrace it anyway.
Hello there everybody it's always good to see you teaching your kids more and more about sailing nice learning experience for them God bless you all stay safe and healthy out there watching from California USA
I think it’s fairly new technology but the ‘wing’ or ‘kite’ creates more lift and it supposed to help reduce the leech collapsing. It’s really a more versatile sail for light winds. 😊

Thank you for the kind words. We love our spinnaker too!!
Great video as usual ! I love the fact, that you show how a true 'Christian family" lives, and enjoys following the Lord. Please keep'm coming !!!! 👍
Thank you for the kind words… it’s a privileged position to shine our light 😁
The great thing about this channel is that every one of the family is so watchable. For the kids, is "every one" in my sentence correct?
Pippi says “No, it should be together.”
That’s fun, thanks Ciaran 😁
@@sailingwithsix Well done Pippi.

Okay we will try and include a bit more in our videos… we post lots of this on Instagram & FB if you want to follow there too. 😊

Yes it was a good decision… we don’t like hurricane season 😬

Just what I needed-a sail off the coast of Mexico to offset my cold North Sea waters of the U.K. Cheers Happy days.
Glad we could warm you up a bit 😊

In the UK we call it Goose winging not wing on wing 👍

That's a great looking spinnaker. Do you know why it has the vents at the top? I've never seen one like that.

So Bella is Rose, Finn is Ted. How does all that work? Are you guys like spies and use "codenames"?
Just to keep you guessing!
