I'm very old (83), and i'm familiar with a progression of musical stars, but I've never run across a singer that could tie me into knots as this young lady does. I predict that she'll become more than famous.
she is a once in a generation artist. one of the very few ones, the super rare. yes she could be great in musicals, or pop or whatnot, it wont matter that much. not only is she technical already almost perfect, with an insane range but amybe her greatest talent is to really get into the role, allowing her to interpret that song exactly out of viewpoint of the fictive character portraited by it. with an enourmous energy and passion. in this song we can see that clearly how deep she is in, or in her first performance at that bgt audition, where for a brief moment when the music starts she begins to drift into it, away from that 12 year old girl into that character thats now there to defy gravity. what she does is more than just acting, its beeing, for a few minutes, and perfectly translate it into vocals. only a few actors can do that, and even less singers, let alone on her technical level

October , 2017 The Voice is one thing.....But, She SOLD it as well ...A young lady that I hope wants to make it to the West End.... She knows how to sing, but also knows about lyrics, intonation and body language ....A Very Talented young lady. I do hope that we hear more from her
Her parents are giving her as normal a life as possible until she finishes high school (or British equiv). She gives concerts and made an album in 2017.
I'm 72 and she is amazing and I hope fame doesn't change her too much from the very sweet girl we all met the first time. I wish her much love and joy in her life...she has so much talent and her voice makes us all feel joy .
Saw Beau and friends at Liverpool Cancer concert, she was wonderful! Her voice is mesmerizing. She is improving all the time, her voice, her presence and the emotion she conveys leave a lasting impression. She has an amazing gift and it is a privilege to share in that. Thank you Beau!

I have considered the great Lea Salonga to be the finest female artist of all time. Beau Dermott may yet claim the crown from the two-time Disney Princess!! Just a beautiful voice laced with PASSION!! She strangles every ounce of feeling from a lyric. And in doing so, she holds the listener in her hands. An epic talent rarely if ever seen.

An incredible mix of power and sensitivity in her voice. Knowing when to go full throttle and when to pull back, and being able to do both musically. That's the key to a great singer. Beau is very simply a great singer. No doubts, no disagreement. Some are just born to sing. Beau IS that girl. :)

She is incredible. I think her performance of Defying Gravity was better than any of the professionals I've seen singing it, and this song as well. Her delivery is spot on- all the feelings of the character come out when she sings with her amazing voice!

Not only she has a sweet, but powerful voice, but her interpretative skills are simply extraordinary for a girl her age. But most of all, what really moved me was Beau's presence.Instead of showing up like most pop starts do these days, nearly naked, to deliver a soft-porn spectacle of twerking and so forth, Beau showed up dressed and acting like what she is: A beautiful young girl with much class. She is simple stunning, her voice....immediately her signature deep caramel smooth octave lets you know a star is born...and we got to be a part of it!
