I think she could have won the whole thing if she'd done a completely different song. Still, she has a great future ahead of her. She's born to play Elphaba, and I can't wait to see her on stage.

I love the fact that when she first sang this song in the auditions, her vocal capability was still developing and I could really tell that she had a hard time hitting the high notes at the time. But look at her now! Her voice was enhanced and it truly showed her full vocal capability! Such stunning prowess! However, she should have performed another theatrical song for the finals. Nonetheless, I see a bright future ahead of her.
I LOVE this little lady! Defying Gravity is one of my favourites from musical theatre, and a personal anthem of mine...and I honestly thought no-one could do it better than Idina. But Beau just knocks it out of the park, every time! I'd have liked to see her do something a different for the final, like As Long As He Needs Me, Memory, or even On My Own. But, seriously, Beau could sing the phone book and give everyone goosebumps! She sounds like a superstar...and I'm sure she's got an amazing career in theatre ahead of her.
Another Stella performance by this born Musical Theatre star, however wrong song choice for me. If she'd sung something new for the final I'm convinced that would have made the difference in the public vote and she'd have won!
It seems to be a recurring thing that singers in the Final sing the same song they auditioned with I don't know whether the programme producers insist on it but I think the singers should be able to sing a song of their own choice and not be told what to sing. Paul Potts, Connie Talbot, Jonathan & Charlotte etc.... all performed their audition songs for the Final and all except Paul Potts lost out to someone else in the public votes, even Susan Boyle only came runner up!
I think they do it to see if the singers can give that same intense performance as the non live version because that much pressure and being live really can make a difference

Well Jasmine put a better performance with every audition. Her final audition was impeccable. Beau made a mistake by singing the same song from her first audition, though I can understand why she did it (probabl didn't felt confident enough to try a new one).
Beau sings "I dreamed a dream" exceptionally. She would've made it interesting if she sang that. But I think the two girls took votes from each other in the final.
All I can say is that was an amazing performance. I had to watch it several times to take it all in. Beau has a very bright future. I can't wait till she has original songs written just for her to wow the world with her amazing voice. Is Beau the next Adele?

She will do just fine! She has so much talent, and drive, even without this show I believe she would go places. But now with this exposure, she will be starring on big stages for a long time to come I believe:) She is just incredible!
It’s hard to come close, much less rival Evancho’s purity, Amira’s electricity or Angelica Hale’s emotional force, but (imo) Beau’s voice is all these things, combined with an always emotionally compelling expression of the story of each song she sings.
I wonder what the winner is doing now because Beau is a bit busy. She appeared with the Glasgow Philharmonia. Now she has her own CONCERT coming up in April 2017 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. She said she wanted to perform when she's older. Well she'll be 13 by then. Beau also said she'd like to play at the West End. This is a smidgen bigger, a LOT bigger. I really hope she does get to play on stage and eventually on Broadway. She also appears here in clips from a teen talent show. Beau sings Memory and I Dreamed A Dream. Holding a mic is a disservice to her because it limits the performance.
Beau Dermott is a wonderful angel. She is a born musical star. Like her mum said, when Beau is on the stage, she (the little girl with a big voice) becomes another person. As I have noted many times, winning on these shows is often not in the best interest of the performer. Why? Because the contract the winner is usually stuck under (particularly the Idol and Voice shows) usually sucks. What a performer wants is steady work - the instant stardom on these shows (which usually lasts 24hrs) is fleeting. Beau, on the other hand, has been very busy since 2016.
Everyone who is saying terrible things about her wardrobe - she is a BEAUTIFUL little girl! This is why self esteem is so poor when they grow up! "Fattening not flattering" - my goodness! I think she looks absolutely adorable and precious.
West End, Broadway... she can go wherever she wants with that talent! An amazing star. She's got a fantastic future ahead of her. I was hoping she would win too and I felt the same as a lot of people that she should have sung a new song. Her performance was excellent though. I preferred in the auditions that the mic was on a stand as she is animated with her body and holding a mic holds her back I feel.

She is an real adorable natural and earthed girl who got this extraordinary gift to sing. Listen to her simply makes me cry over and over again. Its not the way she sing only , she also put all the emotions and feelings into the song which makes her performance a special one. In my opinion this adorable young lady allready is an awsome artist at all and am really looking forward to hear lots more about her as soon as possible!!
I think the reason why she chose to sing the same song is because she wanted to show that she had improved since the first audition and the best way to do that is to sing the same song. However, I am agree that she could have maybe tried to sing an even harder song but it’s already amazing for a little girl😊

Don't think so Adam, if i see who was 3rd and 2nd yesterday, well don't think you will hear much from them in the future. Beau will make it, and that's what it is all about. If you look at so many talent shows and see who won and then look years later who made it in the real world, not a lot of the winners do. If you have masses of friends and are very active at social media you will aways have more chance to win these competitions. Take for example the eurosong contest lol.
Alot of you are being picky because she sang the same song. I think they make her. Isaac waddington and Ryan O Shannasay sang the same songs they started with. I think they do it on purpose to improve from their original audition. I don't think they have a choice especially these younger ones.

Its not the way she sing only , she also put all the emotions and feelings into the song which makes her performance a special one. In my opinion this adorable young lady allready is an awsome artist at all and am really looking forward to hear lots more about her as soon as possible!!
Her speaking voice is so raspy, and her singing voice is so strong and smooth ... It's a marvel!
I think the reason why she chose to sing the same song is because she wanted to show that she had improved since the first audition and the best way to do that is to sing the same song. However, I am agree that she could have maybe tried to sing an even harder song but it’s already amazing for a little girl😊

She needs to be put in theatre singing the same kind of songs for stage. She just has that kind of performance skills. It's neither pop nor opera.. it's specifically stage theatre stuff..

Don't think so Adam, if i see who was 3rd and 2nd yesterday, well don't think you will hear much from them in the future. Beau will make it, and that's what it is all about. If you look at so many talent shows and see who won and then look years later who made it in the real world, not a lot of the winners do. If you have masses of friends and are very active at social media you will aways have more chance to win these competitions. Take for example the eurosong contest lol.

Alot of you are being picky because she sang the same song. I think they make her. Isaac waddington and Ryan O Shannasay sang the same songs they started with. I think they do it on purpose to improve from their original audition. I don't think they have a choice especially these younger ones.
This girl has to be a success ill be deeply saddened if shes wasted, gifts need sharing.
