IT'S FINALLY HERE! My most requested tutorial to date. I apologize for how long this took me to make. To be clear, the actual time to make these videos is not that long; it's just that life gets in the way, and what free time I have, I like to spend on actually speedrunning the game. There's a ton of stuff that was in the script for this video that I cut out, so I'm gonna put it here. About other strategies: I'm only covering one strategy, the one that's the current meta. There is an old strat that isn't too bad that people like CJ and Saintmillion used to use, but I'm gonna be honest with y'all, I was never very good at that strat, and if I'm not good at it, I'm not gonna try and explain it. So, sorry about that, but the meta is strat is just so good, and all it takes is a little bit of practice. About manipulating Raymond's RNG: I only know of 2 things that have helped. One is to, before the run, I check to see if Raymond spawns there. If he isn't there 3 or 4 times in a row, then I do a run. The laws of probability should make his spawn more likely than if you tried to get the spawn twice in a row. The only other thing that has ever helped is a bug that temporarily fixes his spawn to one location. If you've ever wondered why sometimes Raymond will spawn 5-6 times in a row: that's why. It's not luck; The game just breaks sometimes and doesn't change the rng for a few attempts. The downside is this also means potentially NOT getting the spawn 15 times in a row. Some days when it gets really bad, I hard reset the game in an attempt to get a different seed. I don't want to get super mathematical on y'all, but this is a phenomena in probability where the seed is in a part of the bell curve that is Dream levels of RNG. Basically, the game is rigged. [DISCLAIMER: Alpha is not a statistician nor a programmer; he is talking out of his a$$ rn] About the street pedestrians: Oh yeah, for those don't know, these things are not actual NPCs. They are incapable of being witnesses or finding bodies. They may as well not even exist. Kinda weird how thousands of these humanoids can't be witnesses, but dogs and a wheelchair can?? About the difficulty of the meta strat: I know this route can seem quite intimidating, but it really isn't that bad when you break it down. And that doesn't just go for Murder of Crows; that goes for the whole game. This is a hard game to run. Just look at my pro/sa pb: I lost 30 seconds in DotM to, as far as I can tell, nothing. So don't get discouraged if you can't get it perfectly right off the bat. It just takes a little bit of practice.
Hi alpha I have been following this series for some time and your strat helped me a lot, one thing I want to ask is: Spooking the red bird I can do it very consistently on expert but on professional its a hit and miss only sometimes, successful in not getting any witnesses is there something I am missing like some audio queue of coin or something also I m doing this on mobile version so maybe its more of a version difference
How do you overlay Statman's interface over the game? (talking about the detailed breakdown that appears in the Statman window, not the simplified "silent assassin" overlay) And can I avoid the game crashing when I tab out while using the simplified overlay? Would be really helpful, I recently started playing the PC version (coming from Reprisal) and while I'd love to always keep Statman running, the simplified overlay crashes the game when I tab out, and the Statman window is just sitting in the background as the game plays in fullscreen. It cannot be made transparent either.
I don't use the simplified Statman anymore since it crashes too often. For the other Statmans, it's not actually overlaid on the game. I have it set up on my 2nd monitor and use OBS to put it on the recording. If you only have one monitor, you'll have to play in Windowed mode, not full screen, in order to fit both the game and statman on the same screen
Yes. Since there’s a 10ish second window for each Raymond position, you have wiggle room, so it’s not too hard to do it without Statman. Generally, you want to detonate the Raymond mine as soon as you can on the way back. If you did the slow mine perch, detonate it right after landing it up there. If you threw it into the room, try and detonate past the corner on the way to the exit.

Finally it's here thanks alpha
Great video. You keep improving and improving. Good job!! When’s the next one? :-)
@@jgower310 I’m playing with the idea of grinding the entire thing out from scratch on stream
One amendment, about the slower rail mount setup. I believe you can detonate around 0:56 and it should work?
I always loved this level on casual play throughts!
Nice bro I love these tutorials!

Thank you for this boss

Yes! I love their speedruns. Unfortunately they might be a bit too random for me to run 🙁

I’m an Xbox player is there a way to time the bomb detonation on Xbox ?
Yes. Since there’s a 10ish second window for each Raymond position, you have wiggle room, so it’s not too hard to do it without Statman.

4:36 "shoot him with no witnesses" - literally a hundred people within 4 square meters 🤣
This is a part of what's ridiculous in BM game logic
murder of crows is only hard for speedruns bro 😹😹😹🙏🏻
Wen blood money remake
Btw dont need the suitcase kill the others i stg weird asf
yeah you could do that, but for pro/sa you should get the optional items.
The only category that you dont have to get the optional items is rookie/sa
@mrhuman6687 I play pro I don't do rookie
I'm talking about if you might do a full game run but otherwise, this is your style in playing the game@@bobbob-j8g
@@bobbob-j8g optional objectives are required for pro/sa speedruns
