After many years of people patiently waiting for me to do a tutorial, I finally found the time... for part 1 XD.
I will try REALLY hard to churn these out quickly, but don't expect the next one for a bit.
This tutorial series will primarily focus on the Pro/SA category for full runs. Not necessarily Any% or ILs, as those can all be a separate series.
I could just record how to speedrun the entire game in one long take, but I find that boring and unappealing. I wanted to put in a bit more effort than that so I can properly explain how the game works and not miss anything.
Next time, we will dive into the mechanics and glitches you need to understand first.

I used to think that in speeedrunning they dont allow cheat mods to be used or else you will be shun in the community. But in this particular game the cheat mod is surprisingly acceptable in order to setup before you start the speedrun?
Why wouldn’t it? The setup isn’t part of the actual speedrun
They are allowed because Death of a Showman isn't part of it for some reason. That way you can start right away and you only give yourself weapons and money that you can actually gain from this level. So even console players can have the same start without an cheating device they just have to play the level and get it. It just takes very long but time isn't recoreded anyway. This is just so you can setup and jump in. That being said I don't understand why Death of a Showman isn't part of the speedrun. That's like The hospital not being part of MGSV or the hunters cabin in RE4 remake.

Statman is running but when I launch a mission, the game crashes :/

Wow, l didn't know the game remembers your guns in the starting level. So you can keep the weapons you earned there?
only if you store them in the ICA crate. exiting the level like you normally would will not save them, unlike all the other levels
how do you overlay statman on laptop?
you'd probably have to play in windowed mode. if you're on steam version, open the game with steam launcher, then hit "hitman: blood money configuration," uncheck full screen, then play on a slightly lower resolution so you have enough screen space to put statman in the corner
Wtf does the Hitman 2016 mode in Statman do, that sounds intresting
i think it means if you drop the suitcase, you don't lose SA, but i've never used it before
Hi ab, i know this might catch you off guard, but do you have a take on routine infant circumcision? I’m not a fan personally and thought why not get your take on it. Like actually “communicating” about a topic that might not be easiest to approach.
