I'm a 'senior' RC enthusiast living on a fixed income. $35 for four tires rather than the ubiquitous $80 to $100+ IS a "game changer". I can now better justify 3D printed inserts for my Capra thanks to YZZR

Eh Joe. You really should do a review on bamf tire inserts. They're an incredible product. Tire specific and so many choices to dial in for your rigs weight.
That's the price I expected for all of these print inserts.
Exactly... I have more money in foams than tires.... although my last set came off ebay and they're great. I think they were like 35 bucks
Exactly up till flub wants over $100/set nah I’m out!
The one caveat to that is they wont wear out in a season or even 4 imo.
Just get a printer dude, these inserts are simple geometric patterns that have just been lofted and filleted a bit in CAD.
Decent starter printer is sub $200, amazing for 24 scale too.

Pretty awesome! They seem a little hard, I usually prefer a slightly bigger contact patch. For the price you can’t complain though… plus they’re fully waterproof foams! No need to fear water!
They also have different firmness that you can get so that's also a plus.
@@Loomis_Fishin It seems they have a "soft" compound in a non-pigmented alternative.
Of course if you want lots of tire sag, that’s a different story. But these look absolutely perfect.
Good video. I put in a set of Squid inserts into my Fossils and got similar performance.
I really like the Fossils.
@@ExocagedRCyea they really hook even when there cake with mud. After there broken they have unique feel to them and texture.

Are they directional? That would be a good test. I bought some for my ottsix voodo KLR M/T X which look to be directional as well. that would be a good test for the ramp and rock tests.
I print these exact same inserts as well as others by the fellow who designed them. They are a little stiffer than some other inserts using 87A tpu. They work awesome in my 8lb range trucks. In my experience they take a few runs to break in and you’ll notice more tire squish after a few runs. Since I’ve been printing myself I’m learning that you can have to much flex and there is a sweet spot to maximize traction with your contact patch. To be clear I do not print to sell only for myself.
Would you say the soft ate good for the 8lbs? Since you mentioned theyre stiffer.
@@CHINGONOMETRICOTE they are stiffer feeling than some other brands of inserts. I have no way of knowing what the seller is saying is soft. I do know the file for these is highly adjustable to fit the tire and vehicle weight. I would reach out to the seller and have them recommend an insert based on your tire and weight combination.
This design is perfect for the Honcho due to the weight.

hes kind of kicked the 4x4 crawler stuff to the side since talbot gave him a shout out. but there are comments in his 6x6 videos of people wanting him to do it but he never has and probably never will. it would be nice just to see his 6x6 or any of his older rigs/ more than 1 crawl video a week/ 2 weeks

hobbywing has better FOC control so they are miles better for crawling. its also better weight balance not having the external esc

I would like to know this aswell, some inserts do not work for the baja pro x as they are wider and slightly bigger. Please help exocaged. And great vid.

This video drop swamped us with orders. Over 100 sets ordered in 24 hours (Thanks ExoCaged!). We’re currently a one man operation. Printers running 24/7. Orders are going out and printers coming in as fast possible. Shipping 5 and sometimes 6 days a week.
Most orders ship much faster than the whats shown on Etsy. Etsy is very “persuasive” for us to ship within the set timeframe so we’ve pushed it out as far as possible.
@@YZZRinserts Something id recommend is offer them in pairs for like $18. That way I can get a pair of the soft and a pair of the medium for $35ish. Or offer them in a set like that. I couldn't figure out how to do that on the site.

Find a middle man in america. Send the package there and they ship to you
I presume the shipping cost is the killer aspect. Maybe if you offered to pay for the shipping. the 35 has shipping included in the US. I suspect shipping to Norway would be 20 plus...

As others have mentioned - cost is a massive hurdle for international shipping. We hope to offer international shipping soon.
for something you can download yourself and print its not worth the 35$ for the print quality. you can pay a printer farm half that and get a better finish

I understand. We are currently a company of one. Etsy penalizes me if I don’t ship on time. So I pushed out the shipping window after the 70+ orders came flooding in yesterday.
We are growing and adding printers every week to bring that ship time down.
@YZZR I completely understand. It's not just you. I would much rather support a small business but it always seems to be 3-6 weeks out from everyone. If I need parts, I need them quickly. If I want to try a cool new part just to try it, I want to get it before I forget why I wanted to try it in the first place.

Everybody says you need to vent your tires and have really sticky set I have found they said that was done by injura for the smaller stuff 1:24 scale but it's the point that they're not real sticky I did not fit them and then things will pull insane line I've been doing some 90° Cliff stuff insane it is on the power wagon by FMS though with the extended rear end

If anyone is watching this thinking about buying YZZR inserts DONT. I have been waiting for 4 months with no sign of getting them. He ignores all emails and phone calls. I’m not the only person. It seems he is taking everyone’s orders and money and not giving ANYONE the inserts they purchased.
