Oh my god THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have been eyeing these for so long but there are NO swatch videos, you got a lot of the shades that are on my list as well!
I have to revisit these! I got the small starter set to try them out and wasn't a fan... but now I'm questioning if I just had the wrong colours after seeing this beautiful range!
Gorgeous colors! vinyl matte paint is my favorite discovery this year, along with acrylic gouache, thanks to your channel too. In case someone is interested, Sennelier abstract acrylic has a matt line as well, haven't seen them featured in videos. I tried some and it seems I can layer on top of them with color pencil but so far I prefer vinyl paint. I love the artwork you did with these and excited to see more! I also come from a watercolor background so it is very refreshing to see how a watercolor artists handles these paints.
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed and are also having fun with vinyl matte paints, they are so great for layering, I can't get enough of sketching on top of them😍
I came back to say thank you! I finally bought them, and I love them, besides being matte they feel much less sticky than some other acrylics. I also found tester set with 6 basic color tubes of 20ml plus varnish. And bought a few additional colors. I like them in tubes more than in jars
This! They remind me of Blick's matte acrylic paint and these. And they are super affordable. They will be Jo Sonya in the US, but I believe they are Australian.
Is the paint consistency the same from the tubes as from the jars? I got three primaries in jars (from Dick Blick) in the U S and I ❤❤❤ the finish...as you said pencils are so wonderful on this paint! Was going to order some tubes from Jacksons and just curious about how the tubes compare to the jars.
Question: what surfaces can these paints be used on? I don’t do canvas or paper. Wood, metal, plastic??? Would they need to be sealed! If so, with what? Beautiful swatches, interested if it works for my type of artwork.
Hey Tina! It's just like any other acrylic paint, supposed to be able to go onto any surface. I would consider preparing wood with something like clear or white gesso because otherwise the paint soaks into the wood, but I also enjoy painting with it directly on cradled wood/MDF
Do you still use these? I just won a lot on eBay, and I’m shocked I never used them. They're absolutely amazing. You don’t even need a lot of paint-a little goes a long way!!
Great Demonstration and You made me want to try these. I do colored pencil on Gouache. But these look better. Just one thing. I find that the music is very off-putting.
1:01 she says she’s a painter (= artist); 10:06 she says she doesn’t really use reds. Find the error. 😂😂😂 TH-cam, that weird place where everything is possible…
I haven't found proof but what could there be in acrylic paint that's not vegan? I know of honey and ox gall in Watercolors or pastels but not aware of animal derived ingredients in acrylic paint🤔 will try to find more info
I don't know if this information is still useful to you, but I contacted flashe about this since I wanted to know as well and they mentioned that all are vegan except for: ivory black, burnt sienna and paynes grey. I presume these contain pigment PBk9.
Irit I think there’s a problem with your website. For me, the link goes to a site that asks if you want to look up someone’s criminal background. I tried from different devices too. You might check with your web hosting.
I would love to see a comparison of the Flashe with Golden’s So Flat acrylics.
Oh my god THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have been eyeing these for so long but there are NO swatch videos, you got a lot of the shades that are on my list as well!
Glad I could help!!
These are my most favorite acrylics. I love how matte they are.
They are glorious!

Try them! I absolutely love the formula so I think it's worth searching for some colors you love😀

Glad you like them! Yes, I agree about the tubes. Just easier to use and take less space...
Yay! I love these! Great video as always!
Glad you enjoyed ❤️😀
I'm jealous of your nice results. I have had only bad experiences with Flashe paints.
Sorry to hear that, I absolutely love them!
I purchased some tunes a year or so ago and love them
I'm happy to hear!
I have also almost the same selection 😀 maybe you would also like chromium green and payne's grey. I personally find them lovely
Thank you! Will check them out!
I don't know if you've tried the Jo Sonya paints from Chroma, but they are lovely as well and have some beautiful colors that you may enjoy. 😊
Thanks Christi! I don't know if they are available in Europe, haven't seen them anywhere 😬

beautiful and love matt!! 😊
Me too!

Seems the same to me so far 😀

Question - is the naples yellow the hue, the regular or the light? Thanks!
It just says Naples yellow Gail, hope that helps!

I love them! The only other paints are use are if the colours are better but formula wise these are my favourites hands down!
I hate that Vienna is so close to me and I could find Boesner in pitch darkness with closed eyes :D
I hate it that it's so far away😂😂

Thanks for the info!
Can you mix this venyl paint with acrylics?
From my experience yes 😁
Thank you! @@iritlandgraf
Very helpful. Thanks!
You're welcome!
Love your video but no desire to buy the paints. I have about 1/3 of the Holbein acrylic gouache colors and those are super costly.
Yup, they are... These are better for my purposes but the color range is sadly not as good as Holbein's
The netherlands has gersteacker too.
Good to know, thanks!

lol, glad to amuse, yup, don't like red ;)
Perhaps do you know if they are vegan? I would really like to try them.

Just saw Blick’s does carry these- tubes, not jars. If ppl need a US resource.
Thanks for the info ❤️

Hi! I've switched websites, you can find me now on iritlandgrafartist.com ❤️
First 😀 oh no... I'm not first
