Look for a brand called Pony: they do interchangeable wood and metal Tunisian hooks. (Their single ones without a cable are a little longer than the average, something to keep in mind if you want to buy a case for them.) You have to buy the cable and stopper separately, which means that you don't end up with too short or annoyingly long cable. It is also possible to put together several cables with a connector with Pony system, so you could have as long a cable as you wish.

You are so kind to ask how I am doing. Thank you so much. Honestly, this has been a very rough year. We lost my father-in-law this year. He had cancer and then he got covid-19. He passed away very quickly once he got covid. We also lost one of our precious cats, she passed away, she was 19 years old, it is heartbreaking. It was quite hard to record videos without my eyes tearing up or crying. I do plan to get back up to full pace on creating new videos I will be back to uploading videos more often for sure. I am currently working on some fun Thanskgiving baskets, that will be coming up soon. I have finished the editing on the Tunisian Shawl and will be uploading it this weekend. You also asked about if the plastic cables had an odor. I do find that when you purchase hooks or knitting needles with plastic cables they do often times have an odor at first due to manufacturing. These plastic cables did have an odor, like others that I have purchased in the past. No worries, though, just remove all the hooks with cables from the plastic packaging that they come in and let them air out in the air and within a day or two the stinkies go away completely, lol.
