Yes I think the Supervisor have moved in :-) he is 5 and counting the dayes untill he can use the machines in the shop .. but I have him startet on some small hand tools :-) Thank you for watching .. stay safe 😀
Nice bowl, the inlay turned out very well. Very nice. Because of the shavings I could not really see how your lathe is weighted. I have been paying close attention, but I have not seen any vibrations and movements in your lathe👍. The power cord does not move either. So that's a very good update of your lathe.👌 Take care. Frank.
Hi Frank, thank you very much for the comment and for watching 😀 Yes it was a little har to see in the video ... I did send you a picture on mail so you can see the setup. 😀 Have a great weekend and stay safe 😀 // Kim
Thank you very much for the comment I really appreciate it, We have the same spelling in Danish but basically it is a olie(fuel) . but it is debatable if a oil based product or just water is the best, I learned this metode from my dad, so it just got stuck .. but you will do fine with water too.. Thank you for watching and for the sub. 😀😀😀 Stay safe 😀
I think if you use epoxy for this it will only stay on top mostly, the sand grain are very fine and close well together in the grove, the thin CA I use is the absolute cheapest I can find and it works great, I think for a job like this it is better than epoxy ... Thank you for watching and for the comment .. have a great day . . and stay safe 😀😀😀
Hejsa Kim, Flot arbejde, det giver bare lidt ekstra til skålen med sådan et par linier, især med birk som måske nogen gange er lidt plain i årerne. /Lars

Can you tell me what "odorless petroleum" might be called in the US, please?

Interesting. I would have been trying to use epoxy resin. The cyanoacrylate worked well.
