I wonder if you can help.
Even though I can see the serial numbers, my cameras only say 'IP Camera' and there are only model numbers on some - is there a way I can find firmware for the ones I have no model version for using the serial number?
Will you make the same video about Hikvision?
Will loading new firmware reset the IP address to the default?
Does anyone else have two firmwares with one being NP and the other PN and have no idea what is the difference?

Hi, thanks for doing the video, very well informed. I wonder if you or anyone can help me, Ive updated the firmware on one of my cameras and its lost the smat plan and ivs options which is starange. When logged direct into the camera after the firmware update, on the alarms tab ive lost the ivs option. The camera is: IPC-HDBW4431E-ASE and its on the most recent firmware which i downloaded from Dahua. Thanks Paul.
Fixed it. If Smart Codec on? then you need to turn it off, it can't be use with IVS. This must get re-set when the firmware is updated.

Hi there, I was looking on TH-cam how to upgrade the firmware on my IP camera when I found your video. This might be strange ask but I couldn't find any firmware update for my camera, are you able to help me? The camera I have is IPC-HDBW2320R-ZS

I got my cameras direct from CHINA - IPC-HDBW4433R-AS - can't seem to find any firmware updates
in what country do you want to use these cameras?
