I think Jack yelling "what are we doing" over and over as its becomes more incoherent each time is probably my favorite running gag, makes me laugh every time.

I'm glad that you haven't changed your format. What Ryan did was wrong but that shouldn't force you to stop making this. Eventually he'll get tuned out and honestly I think that will happen pretty soon. Some absolutely hilarious moments here!

Since no one can seem to keep their big mouths shut, here’s *my* take on Ryan Haywood.
What he did was inexcusable. Make no presumptions that anyone, be they his most venomous detractor or most fervent fan, would disagree on that. However, whether you adore the hilarity he provided, can’t stand the sound of his voice, or are in some middle ground, it’s important to remember that he was one of the originals, the founding pillars, the creators of Achievement Hunter. Without him…Achievement Hunter wouldn’t be here now. If you don’t want to watch videos involving Ryan due to his actions, that’s fine. And if a victim of him is watching these, I sincerely hope you’re doing well, enduring, and recovering. But we have to remember that Ryan is not the irredeemable monster or black-hearted devil so many in the comments of these videos are making him out to be. He. Is. *Human.* As human as you or me. He makes mistakes. And based on what I’ve seen from some comments, he seems to be making an attempt to learn from them. Whether or not he succeeds in this endeavor, or relapses, is something only history can answer. Ryan Haywood is many things. The Mad King. A man who committed many a misdeed. A scumbag who betrays his friends. But above all else…Ryan Haywood is an Achievement Hunter. And we would all be fools to cast aside all the good that he’s done, and given to us, in favor of lambasting the crimes he has committed.
I am by no means defending or condoning what he has done. I am merely saying to hate the crime rather than the criminal. Because let’s be honest. The vitriol would not be lessened if someone like, say, Michael Jones or Gavin Free committed those foul acts. My advice? Separate the character from the actor. If you cannot do that…then you are simply incapable of true maturity.
I don’t expect many to read this. And if any do, I expect them to consider me a “sheep”, a “fanboy in denial”, or a “simp” for saying such things. But if they do, that is their decision. I cannot control human behavior. None of us can. All we can do is learn from our mistakes, and pray we don’t repeat them. Thank you for taking the time to scale this wall of text to any who felt the need to do so. Good day.
99 percent of the comments whine about Ryan being in the videos. 1 percent of the comments is about other stuff If you complain about Ryan being in the videos, then don’t watch it. I watch it because the AH, including past Ryan, a laugh for me. Future Ryan is a screwup
Man, these comments are a fucking goldmine. It's no one's problem but your own that you can't remember Ryan during the good times of AH. I want to be able to look back and enjoy the memories I have of Ryan and AH as a whole. Sucks for the rest of you!
Some moments with him are still hilarious to this day ngl, the way I see it is I don't mind the past Ryan but the future Ryan can f**k off

Ryan was always the same one that got revealed last year, an important distinction to make from a future Ryan and past Ryan. By all means though enjoy what you enjoy, I'm not saying to not watch what you want to watch obviously, just keep in mind the distinction above please

Ryan is a vile "human being" and to say that is the epitome of an understatement. I understand others that may hear his voice or see him in any way could be traumatic after what he's done. I agree with you whole heartily but that inclusion of Hitler just blew me away. Where is your logic in that? Ryan isn't a mass murderer. A monster? Yep! A murderer? Nope, nice try though.
This is coming from someone who looked up to Ryan, he was my fave AH member and he always made me laugh, his older content still does. When I said "remember Ryan back in the good days of AH" I mean to view him as we did before all this shit kicked off. Of course not everyone will be able to do that. Also, yes you could say that its been the same Ryan the entire time and I would agree with you. However, that is something I'd rather not dwell on. RT/AH are pretty much the only Lets Players i watch other than a select few smaller TH-camrs so its hard to push them out of my life, Ryan included. If by some work of Satan, if Ryan managed to come back on this platform or anywhere on the internet would I watch him? HELL NO. Is it wrong that I'm still willing to watch all his old content before this fucked up shit came out? Probably.
I'm running off in a tangent here, sorry. Simply put, there's two sides of the same coin here. It hurts to think of "AH Ryan" being the same Ryan that we saw in the pictures that came out with the girls. So in the end I just force my self to look at it as "Past Ryan" and "Current Ryan" to help keep what memories I have of him intact because those memories are good and make me happy. That is NOTHING like "Oh Hitler was a good guy deep down before all that genocide, let me just think of that version of Hitler, pre-dictator Hitler". They're both monsters.

They have said before they're doing it in chronological order, so he will be in them till he isn't, if you're not a fan don't watch it. It's as simple as that
Is it, though? Considering he was in countless let's plays, I don't think so. News flash: you can skip the parts with him in it, or you can just not watch it if you're offended by his presence.
It is odd, but think of it this way: All of the great moments with him serve as a reminder of the good thing he ruined.
When you click on a video and you hear ryan at the start and it bothers you yet you don't click off and choose to type like 3 paragraphs about how it's egregious. Who's fault is it that you're upset now really?
Time for people to dislike the video and whine because Ryan is in it.
I still can't watch any videos of him yet. I just looked up to him for many years. It was hard for me to watch without being uncomfortable. It's annoying.
@@WhovianForLife That's not AchievementHaus' fault. They're just making compilations, they've been doing this well before the stuff with Ryan came out. If you can't watch it, then don't. No need to take it out on someone who's just making compilations for fun.
@@WhovianForLife Apologies in advance, this is going to be a long message. We all understand that, and it absolutely sucks that he was never truly how he presented himself in these videos, but I feel like people forget that Ryan only got fired in October 2020, just 8 months ago. These GTA videos are not even close to that point yet (all of these videos have the original video along with upload date to prove it). Ryan was in A LOT of videos, and cutting him out entirely will shorten a LOT of compilations.
I would recommend looking to wait for at least another several months, to maybe a year, before you'll see compilations of GTA (and some other constant series) without Ryan in it on this channel. After all, AH puts out a GTA video weekly, which means at least 40+ more episodes to go before we get to the first one with Ryan gone forever.
As much as I don't like what Ryan did, I can't just stop watching 90% of what AH has produced up to this point. I really don't like the people who are trying to erase him from AH history

psssst...hey you...yeah you. No one is forcing you to watch and its nobodies problem but your own. The fact you can't differentiate his online persona with his real life persona is on YOU. Yeah the shit he did was awful. With that being said, I'd much rather remember Ryan for The Mad King that he was, not the monster that's he's become.

I'll watch regardless of Ryan. Personally I believe in 2nd chances and if he is committed to changing for the better, so be it. But that's off topic. If you don't want to watch AH while Ryan was around, you're pretty much getting rid of 95% of the content from years past. Yeah what he did was wrong but he was a real contribute to the growing success
2nd chances? Didn't he abuse multiple girls? I think second chances went out the window when he did what he did with the 5th girl.
I mean it was a serial issue with him having multiple chances to back out and he wasn’t being pressured by anyone or any system. Like he was basically doing it as a hobby…sure second chances but he can try something else…I don’t think he needs the celebrity status

Man, I liked Ryan before we found out he was a bad person, and I have missed his part in a lot of videos. But watching things like this now, he just irritates my ears. I think it may be that it's GTA though, I was never a huge fan of him in GTA videos.
All these people complaining about Ryan, this is what he wants.... You to think about him. Don't think about it or him and he disappears into a character over a person in the video. Because they still did the work. They were still entertaining. And they should be enjoyed for that and not have that sidelined because of his disgusting behaviour. He is in these videos. Just enjoy everyone else and stop making a deal out of him being in them.

They're not "putting Ryan in these" they're putting together ACHIEVEMENT HUNTER content that happens to have Ryan from those episodes. If you don't want to watch thats fine, but don't call them "gross" and put them down because a majority of people have gotten over it and actually want to watch their old content.
