I would like to personally thank everyone who has been watching. It is important for me to demonstrate the difference between the arts. Today with MMA, which I am not against, but enjoy watching the progression of the arts, but like to be able to help educate others on the similarities and differences of each. This video focuses on the art of Japanese Jujutsu, spelled this way because of the use of weapons. Yes, you see the JKI patch, which I have decided to leave to create my own system. To constantly update and change the system with the changing times and new information. I hope this helps give you a better look into the art of Jujutsu.

Since my Situation passed, I don't trust many others... especially when it comes to helping me school my 2 Princesses! So to run across someone who reminds me so much of his sons; one of which is married to my big sis and has been teaching me since we all met, is an absolute Godsend! OUS, Sifu...I appreciate you and Your Energy. Pricey, PRICELESS Wisdom...that you impart for free?!? Salute.

Patrick watching these videos brings back such great memories of our days at LSU and the Wrecking Crew. You have taken a great art and made it absolutely a phenomenal art there is nothing that compares to combat JUJUTSU. I enjoyed our conversation the other day hope to see you soon..

Hello Dr. Price. I noticed your patch. I seen a very old picture of a man named George Brock wearing the same patch. George Brock, who is currently the Soke of Aibujutsu is also in Texus, I was wondering if you knew him. My research indicates that Aibujutsu has been influenced by or even came from Oikiru which if im not mistaken I think Juko-Kia comes from... I might be completely wrong on everything I just said lol. I was just wondering if you know Soke Brock

We have always been taught, that Ju Jutsu means to practice the combat style with weapons.

    Dr. Price,
Hello. Great videos. Do you know of any schools on Long Island, NY that teach your style of Ju Jutsu or do you recommend any styles/schools that teach Ju Jutsu on Long Island, NY?
    Thank you.
    Dave

      Dr. Price,
Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. I clicked on contact and all that is listed is a mailing address, so I will write a letter & mail it out shortly. I am in perfect health but had a herneated disk in my lower lumbar (L4/L5). The first time it happened was about five years ago and then it happened again about two years later. Since then, I've been working out to strengthen my core (which has helped) and I stretch almost daily. Do you think me studying Ju Jitsu would be out of the question? I ask because I wouldn't want to study an art that might put too much pressure on the lower back/be too hard on one's back (throws, tosses). I am still trying to find an art that works for real self defense. I am basically the most interested in Japanese Ju Jitsu because it offers so much, but I am also looking into Kempo, Wing Chun, San Shou, Muay Thai, and some styles of Karate (Shorin Ryu, Uechi-Ryu, Kyokushin, Isshinryu). I am a school counselor by profession, married, regular guy who basically is interested in the spiritual component of most arts but really wants to learn an art that works in the real world and won't mess up my back. I have asked this question before and most instructors say "talk to your doctor" etc. My doctor wouldn't give a definite yes or no, but it would be nice to get an honest answer. If you are willing to answer me back that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
