I HIGHLY recommend you put clamps on the hoses. They don't hold as they should. My hose came off and blew out all the oil in seconds. $15,000 later, I have a new engine. I sent the hoses back to Insane Diesel back in December. NEVER HEARD A WORD BACK. How's that for customer service and quality of product.

Did you ever followup with them? I would be interested to see photos of the pre installation as well as photos after they came off. I'm going to pull the trigger on a bypass system in the next couple of weeks. AMS Oil is out, either Insane or Parker. These both have same filtration specs. I'm just waiting to find out the size of the ports for flow.
I'm all about customer service, so thanks for the info.

@@ericwiltz6584 Sorry, no photos. I did hear back from Insane assholes. They said the parts and hoses are not their responsibility since they just assemble the pieces. Then I filed a complaint with the BBB. No help there as the BBB sides with whoever pays to be a member with them.

@@patriciafalerios9318 Thank you so much for the update. Slam dunk, going with a Parker system, which by the way, looks to be near identical to Insane aside from the color selection. I also like the T-bolt on the Parker.

Thank you Sir! Patricia also got back to me. I'm going with a Parker system which looks the same as Insane except no color also I think $100 less with same 1 micron filtration.

@@ericwiltz6584 Good for you. Several of my buddies (3) who own shops will not install Insane Diesel products if brought into their shops. They don't want to be blamed if the products blow out or go bad, since Insane Assholes don't back their products.

We are working hard to get more engine-specific kits. The new Duramax should be available within a year. Keep your eyes on InsaneDiesel.com and follow on Facebook for more exciting announcements. Thanks!

Filters down to 1 micron! It's cheaper in price!
Not cluttering up your engine bay!
    It's about performance of course!
As far as looks are concerned its duffy, bulky and down right out place in my eyes in the engine bay.
Both Amsoil and Insane are excellent!
But that just my opinion, but Isane is my preference because of those 3 reasons above!

I really want to add this kind of system to my Ram Diesel truck but after looking at all the options I have to go with the Amsoil version because it is less money by $100. I have looked at this one, the one from Filtration Solutions and Amsoil. They all do the same thing so it really comes down to price. Each one will say theirs is the best so why not save some money. They are all over priced in my opinion!

If it's important..AMSOIL filters to 2 microns, while ID does 1 micron

Bro I don't think the right thing to do is to hop on someone's channel and voice your mentality about a product you don't intend to purchase.

In 1963 I paid 29.95 for my first Frantz oil cleaner. Delo 30W was 29 cents a quart in the discount stores. Multi grade oil was crap. Couldnt use it in a diesel. We used 2 ply toilet paper in those days. I went with the top loaders in the 80s. The Australian Jackmaster Classic is on the Pontiac. They claim 1 micron.

No the factory has to prove its doing damage or caused a failure.

Its like anything you put on the engine That isn't stock. Such as power chips. If it causes damage it isn't covered. Gulf Coast Filters has letters from the engine makers that explains it. They do a lot of large engines. NASA bought paper towel filters for a large Mercedes engine.Mercedes told NASA engineers that the warranty isn't covered if they used Gulf Coast Filters instead of theirs. How much could you spend fighting Mercedes.

The way it works. With an over the road truck is installing. A bypass filter doesn't void the warranty.if. you.haven't been changing the oil as they recommend and have engine problems you better have oil analysis reports to prove the oil is good Truckers install the big filters so that they won't have to drain the oil.

The name is very accurate and also insanely overpriced for tin can that holds a roll of toilet paper with hoses coming and going to your motor pretty ingenious but not affordable to everybody of course

I have a Australian Jackmaster Classic. Its a drab green color and uses a roll of Australian toilet paper in a sock. Ive been using toilet paper out of the package since 1963. Great Value 1000 from Walmart recently. Got the Jackmaster Classic off Ebay with no hose and fittings for about 175.00 plus shipping.from Australia.

My first toilet paper filter was a Frantz at 29.95. Multi grade didnt hold up in a diesel. Delo came in 30W and 20W for 29cents a quart in the discount stores. It was golden when clean in a gasoline engine. All we could use was 2 ply toilet paper No Frantz elements or Scott 1000 in 1963. The AeroFrantz took the same 2 ply.

Seems like a nice product, but holy crap.... don't let the 12 year old make your next product video. All the zooming and panning and unnecessary movements made me feel like I had some ADHD or something.
