Congrats on your first Yokomo! 🥰 I got the ooooold YD2 haha Btw you ever go to GGT in Garden Grove? Also you should get a pump vacuum for the shocks :)
I haven't been to any track in Cali yet. I definitely want to check that spot out. I use to live in Anaheim and I always visit because all my family is out there and norcal.
hi there wonderful video i am thinking about getting the same kit sd2.0 & the only thing holding me back is the steering mechanism. how was your experience putting it together? i am a newbie & this looks more complicated than bellcrank but in really love the style of this chassis. any input helps. also what you opinion on performing maintenance on the steering rack? is it too finicky?
I'm loving it so far. Maintenance should be easy enough. The design is great and the instructions are good so you shouldn't have a problem building it. Use threadlock on the screws that go into metal. Drive it box stock and tune to your liking.
Cool Car. That drifting Track looks fun
Its a fun track and they changed the layout every couple months so it stays fun.
Nice shock building tips.
I appreciate it! This is how I've been building my shocks and have been successful so far.
